Oliver shrugged and nodded, and kept on eating. "I guess that makes sense. We sorta do good things for each other that way."

He grinned at her. "I can make sure you don't get too panicked by the scary stuff."

"Pretty much." Jenna agreed "It really helps to know that there's someone who cares to listen about one's worries and wants to help solving them." she added "That was one of the things I used to envy you humans for."

"Really?" Oliver asked, frowning at the thought of dragons being too callous to really care about the feelings of their own. "You'd think they'd care about one of them."

He smiled. "Well, I'll always listen to you."

"We may have cared before Talon, though since we are loner-creatures, that probably only extended to mother-offspring relationship if we did." Jenna said "But like I have told, we are trained to be unfeeling, raised without family or friends." "There's only Talon, only the quote unquote 'greater good'."

Oliver nodded in understanding, still feeling bad for Jenna for how she was raised. Clearly she had little to no interaction with the outside world apart from what she'd told him.

"Well, you have a friend now," he said with a smile."

"Only a friend?" Jenna asked with a humorous tone "I thought we would be at least a couple at this point." she smirked "Or lovers, until that's the same thing, I'm not sure, the relationship terms of humans aren't my expertise."

Oliver blushed and hit his lip, thinking for a moment he'd said something wrong. He noticed Jenna's smile and blushed, feeling a little flustered.

"You know what I mean," he said, smiling back at her.

"I do." Jenna laughed eating a bit "I just love to see you flustered and blushing, it's so cute" she said smirking she moved her finger along the table in almost shy manner "You're the first thing I have found cute in a good way."

Oliver blushed even more and chuckled awkwardly, rubbing the back of his head. "Well, I'm glad I had a positive effect on you."

He frowned curiously at her. "In a good way? What's cute in a bad way?"

"Bad cuteness is for example someone half your size trying to be threatening." Jenna replied "You know, things like that, things that create situations where you can say 'how cute' as an insult." she explained

"Oh yeah, I see what you're saying," Oliver said with a nod, and smiled at the idea of a small Jenna trying to look intimidating.

"I bet you'd look cute if you were a small dragon," he joked. "You'd be the best pet."

"Well, baby dragons are cute, in both ways." Jenna said with a chuckle "And I guess if you shrank me in my current age to tiny enough form that I couldn't do that much damage I could be cute too, in both ways." she grinned "But a good pet I wouldn't be, I would be way too annoying."

Oliver smirked and petted down Jenna's hair, liking the idea of a tiny dragon version of her. "I bet you'd be even cuter as a tiny little dragon."

He held her closer. "Especially with your little fire breaths."

Jenna chuckled and finished her meal "Maybe, but you can be sure that I wouldn't admit it." "I would keep trying to act non-cute and threaten you." she smirked "Because smaller the dragon is, bigger is their need to act big."

"That'd just make you look even cuter," Oliver admitted, smirking at her teasingly. "Little baby dragon trying to act all tough."

He grinned at her. "Though, you look cute either way, so it might not change much for me."

"Exactly" Jenna just agreed with a chuckle, she usually would have gotten at leas bit insulted at this point, but she couldn't argue that imagining a tiny version of herself wasn't amusing. "Again that's just this form." she argued "I assure you that my real form is not cute." though she was mostly humorous, there was hint of pride in her tone bleeding in from her true side on the last claim.

"Oh yeah, your real dragon form probably isn't really cute," Oliver agreed, then gave Jenna a smile. "I bet it's actually more 'awesome' than 'cute'."

He looked at her, grinning. "Dragons are pretty awesome in general."

"That I can agree on." Jenna said, sounding clearly proud about it now. She grinned "Though I prefer spectacular or magnificent" it was clearly a joke, but her tone suggested she wouldn't mind if she was actually called that.

"Those work too," Oliver agreed, grinning at Jenna. She looked like she was enjoying herself, and he was happy to indulge her ego a little if it meant she was comfortable. "But we can do all three if you like."

Jenna grinned "I like how you think." she moved to put her hand on Oliver's cheek, thought the way she did it was bit different than usual, as instead of gentle hold like she had done several times before, it was more in...seductive manner "And it feels extra good when it's you who compliments me, it means so much more"

Oliver blushed from the kiss. It felt different from the usual way Jenna kissed him; there was more to it than usual, but he couldn't really place it.

"Y-you think so?" he asked, smiling uncontrollably at the compliment.

"You should know at this point that I don't say things if I don't think so." she had gotten up at some point and was now circling around Oliver, keeping one of her hands on his cheek constantly "I'd be lying if I said why it is, because in the end it's just you stating the facts, which by itself isn't special." she moved in front of Oliver taking his head between her hands and looking him right into his eyes "But you." "Something in me craves for your approval, and it's not just a pride."

Oliver blushed as Jenna took his head in her hands, and he looked right back into her eyes. He found it impossible to look away.

"But, you already have my approval," he pointed out, then blinked. "Don't you...?"

"Maybe." Jenna said "But it's nice to be reminded about it now and then" she grinned "And the funny thing is, I don't know which part of me wants that approval." "The human, or the dragon." she then kissed Oliver, it was short compared to previous kisses, but it wasn't any less passionate "There's something about you that other human guys lack, I just can't tell what it is."

Oliver smiled, cheeks flushing red with the kiss, and he gave Jenna a short, passionate kiss in return.

"I'm not really sure what it is either," he admitted. "All of this is new to me as well. Not just the 'dating a dragon' thing but dating in general."
