"No, I don't really know that much about gem names and such, but I found it outside Equestria so it isn't necessary something common here."

"Strength isn't everything, Ruby. Experience and intellect beat strength. If one who is strong goes up against one who is wise. The wise one will have the wisdom to find and exploit the weaknesses hidden inside their strength."

This was coming from someone who has seen and faced many things. One who has seen more than most.

"Twilight does have a weird map thing though, so that could be an issue. Maybe I should talk to some of the high ranks about getting thosw enchanted weapons ready a little faster... just in case."

Somnus wasn't stupid, he knew there would bw a challenge even with enchanted weapons.

"The enchanted weapons and our allience with the Dragonslands would give us a good chance, but the victory would be costly and there would be a huge death toll."

"Then our best bet would to rely on our defense pacts with the Changelings and the Dragonlands."

"As for the Royal Guard, we would probably either put Arrow or maybe even you in charge of the fight. Maybe even both."

This made him think about what Ruby would do.

"Then again, we would have to bring into question whether or not you would even be willing to fight that kind of war."
