I'm Summer Storm.  Welcome to the MLP forums, you!  I'm new here myself, but folks have been pretty friendly here so far!  

But now I have to ask - you lost a bet?  What kind of bet?  Did you become a fan because of it or did you have to watch My Little Pony and in the process, you became a fan on your own?

Oh boy it's a silly little story.

Me and a couple of friends were doing a really complicated raid wing for an MMORPG
And so me and this one friend made a bet
If I could get through the entire fight without being downed or defeated, they had to watch MLP. If I died, I had to watch it.


I died,,, many times
But I made them watch the first few episodes with me and I ended up enjoying it.
So I started watching the show on my own.

Ha ha ha!  Oh noes!  Bets like those, your buddies can record and prove it!  =)

Well, if you'll forgive me, I'm glad you lost the bet!  That means you're here!  And...  you know...  if you really wanted to (and haven't already), you could just tell 'em you died on purpose!  O.K., if they know you well-enough, they'll know you're just being silly, but it makes for a good gag!  =)
