Today we lost a tremendous talent in the world of film and by the sound of things, a genuine human being.

May his legacy live on.

This is truly saddening. Gary Kurtz was a wonderful man; intelligent, kind and a tremendous asset to so many of the films we love and the artists who brought them to life. Above and beyond being a great producer, he was a fine human being. I think the biggest insult I ever heard directed toward him was that he was 'too nice.' That speaks volumes right there. I have always thought of Gary as family and friend, even though I've never had the honor of meeting him. And he'll always occupy an important place in the hearts of his fans. His contributions are far to great to express and I will miss him deeply.
