Why can't I edit my avatar?

I'm rather confused.. Do I need to reach a certain rank?

Are you on mobile? Cuz if you are, i have no idea how to do that. However, if you’re on computer, simply go to your profile, click on your avatar and it’ll give you the option to change your profile picture.

I remember wondering the same thing and I think I had to hit 5 posts or something haha.

To change your profile picture, go to your profile:

And click that little icon in the bottom left corner of your profile picture:

If you don't see that button, then yes, you'll have to advance to the "Muffin" rank to have that feature unlocked. It can be achieved by simply making posts. It requires only 5 of these, so it shouldn't be a big problem.  

 Note, that some sections, such as Welcoming Plaza do not increase your post count. Sections with that restriction have a note in their description.
