Returning characters

Sombra is officially confirmed, of course, but also Patton Oswalt appears to be returning as Quibble Pants at some point, seemingly along with his real-life wife and daughter as evidenced by an Instagram post awhile back. Definitely looking forward to that episode; curious if they'll tie it in w/ Dash and Scootaloo's relationship somehow.

 

I suspect Lightning Dust will also return; that arc seemed unfinished at the end of The Washouts. Also hoping for a bit more from Autumn Blaze.

I would like to see Autumn Blaze again, also Terramar.

• Student Six, but this time, in less episodes than in Season 8
• Trixie, but hopefully this time, with no more episodes with Starlight
• Sugar Belle, except this time, appearing and interacting with somepony in the Mane Six (preferably Applejack or Pinkie Pie)
• Queen Chrysalis
• Cozy Glow (possibly teamed up with Chrysalis)

Characters strongly recommended for Season 9:

• Sunburst, and I also want to see him alongside the Mane Six at least once
• Shining Armor

Because he was the one struggling with a problem. The other pillars adapted very well to modern times.

A good episode focuses on a character who has a conflict and shows how they would react to said conflict.
