The Animation style in this Special was superb! Wished more of G4 would have been made in that Style. 

There were also 2 great Songs which are now part of my favorites list, the special also had a nice message. I loved it!

I enjoyed it quite a bit even though it was simplistic like some said. Made me a bit sad too since that sort of town change has happened in real life, minus the fantasy part of course. Some older folks wish they could go back.

Just watched that the other day after stumbling upon it. Felt like a mix between the movie and an old episode of season 5-6. Like a 2 part friendship problem episode done in the style of the movie. Loved the story, the tinker pony was really cool (she made me think of Velma from Scooby-doo for some reason). The handicapped stylist pony was super cute  It was simple, clean, easy to watch and get into. 10/10 would watch again.

i feel like people were way too harsh when this thing released, i guess it's because the expectations were WAYY too high, and i understand that specially when the entire thing is like 1 hour and has the 2017 movie animation. Overall, pretty cute short movie, i can see that the writers back in the day just had no more ideias and were just using some old ideias from the show, someone already pointed here the episodes that are pretty familiar to this, i don't think that is something really bad. The movie in general was just cute and simple, no villain, no over massive magic thing, it felt like the most basic my little pony episode you could imagine with all the mane six. But i can't lie that it felt a little boring for a while, the humor in here most of the time feels like it was made only for really young kids or even babies, and i don't mind that a lot, i just watch cute ponies not really caring too much about plot or humor and i'm the most sastified brony ever, it just felt boring because it was 1 hour.
