There should have been variations of the FIM intro for special cases.

I was thinking some shows have changed up their intros from the normal one to be special like Adventure Time when it's focused on specific characters not the main ones.

So here are the three I think would have been appropriate.

Starlight Glimmer and her friends doing their own version of the FIM intro. When there are episodes focused on her, she should have had her own version of the intro song.

Season 9 when the villains had their own special focused episode, there should have been one for them.

Student 6 should have had their own version with their focused episodes.

If the target audience was a bit older I would agree, but as it isn’t they did the smart thing by not changing up the intro too much. I was actually surprised they made even one change to it, but based on traditional viewer graduation rate that makes sense due to the show’s  longevity at the time.

It would've been nice to have a variation of the MLP:FiM theme with bells for Hearth's Warming episodes.

I skip intros on TV shows (and Youtube videos), especially the long running ones. The exception is if I really really like the song.

So, I probably would not have seen the variations.

Pffft, that's extra work 

I do like the idea of a villain intro though, especially if it goofily parodies the original.
