Tense. Tomorrow will be expensive as more money will be put on my visa, while I go out to buy lunch for myself to break up the week. Not looking forward to Thursday when I get paid, more money going out the door than too (but getting a new game for myself. To ease the pain).

Feeling I may have just escaped becoming dead yesterday, I tripped on the stairs while going up them, and if I had knocked a glass frame off the wall I think I may have bled out that time, I need to be more careful. No, the frame did not come off the wall and smash, but it could have done.

 

But like the Oingo Boingo song says, We have only got so many tricks, no one lives forever.

I don't believe anything in my MLP fan fiction will ever happen, that would be absurd to think that. However that would not be a cool way to die even if an imaginary instance it did happen. I'd look very silly in the Bardo having offed myself by a fatal accident that was avoidable.

Worried about a friend. He used to be around here on the forums and the last I heard of him, he sent me some emails.. and I did not even notice it until recently. I feel awful and I hope he does not believe that I was ignoring him. I hope he does not feel alone. He is actually a very kind friend and a kind person.  I have just been caught up in some other things.

Aww, Silky, don't feel that way, sometimes people can have important messages that get buried in notifs, and that's no one's fault, it shows that people are so active here on the forums.

Tired. Late in the evening for me. Also watching a StarTrek episode ( S7 E9 Force of Nature) where two side characters, a brother and a sister, have come up with a theory of warp drive tearing a rift in a narrow space lane, basically. The sister decided to prove her theory by, of all things, blowing up her ship and making the rift bigger. It's a not very subtle (to me anyways) hint the show seems to think men and women react differently to potentially life threatening situations. As far as I can ascertain, the how seems to paint men with a wide brush saying that we are cold, logical beings that take our time and use our heads more than our hearts, while they paint women in a sweeping brush as the opposite. Now I could just be reading too much into this after learning that my mother hates men and bought into our most useless conflict, the "gender war" (no greater waste of time was made in my opinion), along with my being told in an earlier when reading anti-men stuff on a book of hers to "not take it so personally" (And thus subconsciously now doubting myself or whenever she says/sends something my way through social media). Or it's just the show showing it's age, it being made in the early 90's after all. Still, makes me feel tense and frustrated.
