The paper is so rubbish, I do not even consider it worth commenting on, but one remark I will make is that this was obviously inspired by a motion to get rid of Columbus Day. Not that I want to debate about such a thing, I just never thought in my lifetime that I would see Spongebob get compared to academia's totally unbiased view of Christopher Columbus.

I know woke journalism is just about clicks, but this did not come from an article. This came from an actual research paper written at a prestigious university that got funded by taxpayer money.
