I am searching for someone to play as either a mare or stallion to become my oc Serenity Phase's new housemate. This will be a slice of life and romance roleplay. Serenity is bi-romantic, so she is open to either stallions or mares. Please post your interest here.

What do you mean by Canon rp? do you mean it as canon for the characters, or canon as show canon?

Okay here we go. 
1. I am not expecting multi paragraph responses. I am fine with one paragraph or simply a couple of sentences, just not something like "Yeah" or "lol" like one line responses are just..ugh.. as for response time.. At least two times a day (if possible)

I can't unfortunately fulfill the activity quota as my activity is usually once in 1 to 2 days, weekends (and other free time) sometimes being an positive exception when I have time and energy to respond more often (in other hand there's also times when there's a longer break between my replies).  I hope you find someone who can play a bit more actively but if  you don't, feel free to hit me up as I have a character that could work.

I always try to post once a day at least to those RPs that has the other player(s) posting as often, but with me being in physical work, sometimes I'm just too tired to respond, and sometimes i'm just busy.

Earth Pony
Stallion
Occupation:
Sells things he makes.

Backstory:
From young age he envied unicorns' magic as it allowed them to be more precise, and through his tinkering hobby he tried to rival that ability. From a simple glove that gave him fingers he improved until he had managed to give himself 6 extra limbs that he controls like his hooves, allowing him to do things faster and more precisely than he ever dreamed of.  He now makes everything from small decorative items to more complex machines, and those he can't use to improve himself he sells.

Other:
He can change the tools that are attached to his extra arms, the ones seen in the picture are a hand, that is a metal claw/hand, magnetized spike that allows him to handle small metal parts (the middle ones) and a holder which can hold things like hooves can.

Sounds interesting, and I can see him being perhaps the creator of her chasis

He could have had part in it, but I don't think he would be the sole creator of something like that, though how big of a part he would have played fully depends on when it was build, since how much he was able to do depends on how long time ago it was. It could add some chemistry between the two if Tinker knew enough about the chasis to fix it if needed (or even upgrade).

I am thinking, she only recently had the transference in the past five years. But I was also thinking of how it could lend to the building chemistry between them.

In the past 5 years, so assuming it hasn't been laying unused somewhere for years, it probably would have been build 1-2 years prior depending on if it was build for that exact purpose or not, so 7 at longest.... I'd say that someone else build most of it but Tinker could have been helping with the finer details like wiring, circuitry and other things that are related to it actually working, but for reason or another never got to know what it was actually used for.

 

Also, since you said 'new housemate.', I assume the RP would start with Tinker moving in?

Yep, and that still works for me. As for it starting with Tinker moving in, that also works. I can start up the rp and ooc threads

One last thing and it's just purely to ask your opinion, would it be better if Tinker recognized Serenity (or well, her body)  right away, or would it be better if he remember it later when it comes up?

I'd say maybe a little later on, maybe after she has a accident or something.
