In tragic news, legendary actor Christopher Plummer has passed away at the age of 91. He was best known as Captan Von Trapp in The Sound of Music and Charles Muntz in Up.

Didn't know he was also in Up  For me he is always Georg Von Trapp from the Sound of Music

90 years is quite an achievement, I trust in that time he was more than ready when the time came. Godspeed captain

Christopher Plummer has been one of the most prolific actors in the business. He was ALWAYS doing something! He is always enjoyable to watch and he's given us a great deal to remember him by. Most people, including me, remember him best for The Sound of Music, which he himself often underappreciated until his later years. I also liked him in An American Tail. He was an interesting man and like so many of his great era of performers, he'll be missed.
