"I'm right here Mason." Pinkie said waving to Mason and Cream. 

"Pinkie has been with us all this time..." Sonic stated. "Yea, she joined our little group back in Ponyville." Chelsea stated.

Mason sits down to think.

I can finally relax, after all this fighting...but one question remains. Will Pinkie want to marry me? I mean, I'm human, she's pony. It wouldn't feel right then, and something tells me its not right now.

At that very moment, Mason developed tears of confusion and sadness...

"Mason? Are you okay?" Tails asked

"Chao Chao...?" Cheese the Chao said from Cream's backpack.

Cream got confused."Is Mr Mason okay?"

Pinkie walked over to Mason. "Mason...are you alright? You seem like something is bothering you...what is it?" She asked sitting next to Mason, trying to look into his eyes. 

Sonic, Thundy and Chelsea also sat down.

"I dont know what my future with you will look like...Its making me stressed so much." Mason cried as he hugged Pinkie tightly. "Its hard, figuring out the next step! I havent gotten this far before..."

Tails looked down. He knew what it could mean for both Mason's and Pinkie's relationship if action wasnt taken."Mason..." Tails couldnt find the words.

"Either we have to stay...or Pinkie comes with us..." Sonic said with a sigh. He now knew how much Pinkie meant to Mason. "Good choice Sonic. Pinkie means the world to Mason. So we must make sure they stay together." Thundy said.

Mason was ten steps ahead. He was practicing his wall jumps on trees.

"Oh silly Mason." Cream stated."He got bored."

"Specials are harder than physical abilities. We must make sure that Mason has full control over them, especially during times of tension. We cannot risk it." Thundy stated. "Of course." Chelsea stated. "Mason!" Sonic called out.

Mason heard Sonic call out to him and ran right over. "Yeah guys?" he responded.

"Hey Sonic, what should we start with? Lightspeed Dash might help, since it requires a pure heart." Tails suggested.

"Yeah Mr. Sonic, wasnt it tough for you?" Cream asked

Chelsea stepped forward and laid a talon on Mason's chest, closing her eyes. She wanted to make sure that Mason had a pure heart. She started to pant a little, which meant that Mason did not have a pure heart. "Oh dear...Mason's heart isn't pure yet. He has to let go all fears, doubts and thoughts of negativity towards others." Thundy said. "Then we'll have to work towards that pure heart." Sonic said.

"How do we do that?" Mason asked.

"We may need more time than I thought we would..." Tails groaned. "Hey Mason, where exactly are most of your negative feelings focused on?"

Shoot...Well there is the Mario Bros, Eggman, Amy and dont read my mind(OOC)...But I am afraid of losing Pinkie to anything... Mason thought.

"Mr Mason? Are you ok?" Cream asked.

"No... Im not. Honest truth." Mason said. It made him somewhat relieved.

[Chelsea]

"It's going to take time in order for you to let go of those feelings, but you must do it if you want to control this power of yours. I have a huge feeling that the majority of your abilities require a pure heart...and that's most likely the reason for the explosions earlier...because of not being able to control your power." Chelsea explained.

"...Okay."Mason said.

"Okay as in..." Tails asked.

"I will do anything you say Chelsea. Just give the word and I'll work for it." Mason said happily.

"Woah. That is the happiest Mason has gotten. EVER." Tails said.

Cream tugged on Tails' glove." I have to go home. Dont worry I will be back. Bye Miss Chelsea!" She threw a ring and teleported, but Mason noticed something wierd about her ring. As it flashed it emitted a Dark Aura. 

"Eh must be an illusion." Mason said quietly. " Now. whats first?" Tails knew something was off.

Chelsea gasped. "Okay, that's not right. Why did that ring just emit that dark aura?" Chelsea. 

"That's not good. We have to get to Cream someway somehow. This is why you need to learn to control your abilities as fast as possible Mason. Perhaps one of your hidden abilities could be to do a teleportation between worlds." Sonic said.

"Yes that could help, but first..." Tails pulled up his locator." oh no... Sonic, shes gone to an alternate world of Mario's dimension..If she gets to the Dark Star-"

"The Dark Star?!?" Mason yelled out loud."That thing can copy anything! and anyone!" Mason shifted his energy to positivity, for Cream's protection...

"Chaos....Control!" he shouted, creating a portal to the verse. He jumped in without thinking.

"Mason wait!" Tails yelled, following him.

"Shoot! Mason!" Sonic yelled as he went in after. Thundy, Chelsea and Pinkie followed. "This is the biggest issue. Mason's heart isn't pure yet. There's a lot of darkness and he may not be able to fend it off..." Chelsea said very worried.

Mason entered what seemed like a dark void of emptiness."Survivors? Or Breachers?" a voice darker than Bowser's said.

Tails jumped out. "Mason! Come back! You'll scare Pinkie!" He then saw..."Dark Bowser!"

"So dimension hoppers?" Dark Dowser yelled. he then took part of Mason's Dna and resembled a Darker Blue version of his Dark Super Form.

"No...Tails, run! He is too strong!"Mason yelled in tears after falling with severe bruises.

Thundy charged all the way to his full power form and stepped in front of Dark Bowser. "How dare you take my friend's power. You are not worthy of it." Thundy said firing a beam right at Dark Bowser's chest, which extracted Mason's DNA from Dark Bowser, taking Mason's abilities from him. He then turned the beam into a ball and gave it to Chelsea. Chelsea went beside Mason and restored his power. Pinkie was next to Sonic with a somewhat worried look on her back. "Sheesh these foes just can't be happy with their own abilities..." Pinkie said. "Pft, you can say that again. At least Thundy and Chelsea restored Mason's abilities..." Sonic stated.

"Mr Sonic..."Cream said shyly.

"Cream! oh thank goodness youre all-" Mason stopped in his sentence."What happened? You have the Dark Star's Aura!"

Bam! Cream dark blasted Mason in the chest. "I can rule...this world. I dont need to grow up!"Cream blasted at Pinkie's direction.

Mason jumped in and blocked the attack."ugh...Chaos..." Mason was charging an attack.

In this situation, Chelsea was a major help. She sensed the darkness within Cream, and fired a purifying ball of water, that cleansed Cream's spirit. She then ran over to Mason and laid a talon on his chest. She let out a warm pulse of water energy that also cleansed Mason from the darkness. Pinkie was curled up in a ball, quivering.

Mason stopped charging his attack and withdrew it before anything else happened. He ran to Pinkie hugging her."Its okay. Its okay."A bright light surrounded him and Pinkie, Mason was using it to calm her down.

"Is that what I think it is?" Tails asked.

"Pinkie just might be the key to unlocking Mason's pure heart." Sonic said. Pinkie slowly uncurled and hugged Mason tightly, starting to sob. "I....thought...I....lost you..." She said still sobbing. A stray tear fell from Chelsea's eye.

Tails was thinking about how he could increase their bond without using the EQG dimension but asked about a solution anyway."Hmmm...Sonic, what if we monitored him and Pinkie Pie in the Equestria Girl Dimension? I know you'll-"

"I say no Tails," Mason hastily replied. "I am more focused on keeping everyone safe than travelling without safe precautions." The light around Mason grew even stronger."Plus I nearly make Pinkie lost control anyway.."

"Mason's right Tails, we should stay here." Sonic stated. Meanwhile Pinkie was still hugging Mason tightly, still sobbing. This might've been a little too much for Pinkie, so all the group could do now was hang back and comfort Mason and Pinkie. 

[Youth Sonic(Mason)]

"Im never leaving Equestria...for Pinkie..." Mason whispered.

"That means youll say goodbye once youve controlled your powers...to us,both Sonic and I..." Tails said.

"If it makes her happy...I am willing to do anything..."Mason replied."Would you be okay with that my sunshine?" he asked Pinkie.

"Sonic...say something! You cant agree to this!!!" Tails yelled furiously.

"Im taking Pinkie back to Ponyville while you sort things out, Sonic. Chelsea, will you come too?" Mason said as he picked his ponyfriend up.

""Im not ready to say goodbye!!! Why cant he bring her with US!!!" Tails cried as Mason walked.

"Of course we'll come." Chelsea stated. 

"I mean, we could stay longer but...we must make sure that our world is safe too. I'm certainly sure that once you've controlled your power, you could travel to Mobius and back..plus bring Pinkie and your other friends along too." Sonic said.
