I've never played Luigi's Mansion(Surprisingly) but from the designs, Polterpup, he reminds me more of Zero the true best ghost pup...

Greavard looks weird lol, I really hope it evolves into something much more majestic than that...

I'm a much bigger fan of Pokémon than Mario, but I choose Polterpup. He's definitely the cuter one with that goofy, cartoonish smile and I like how his design is more indicative of the fact that he's a ghost.
