What episode should i show my mom?

OOOO the sonic rainboom episode no one can hate that. and also fluttershy trying to cheer is so adorable. and then when she is like "DID YOU SEE ME DID YOU SEE ME I WAS SO ASSERTIVE" lol that whole episode is flawless id go with that one for sure. if i ever decide to show my mom ill probably go with that one.

The two Returns of Harmony episode are my favorite ones, I found them very funny. Though Party of One seems like a good one to show her. I wouldn't show her the first one though. It may explain everything, but with personal experience I showed that episode to some friends to try to convert them. They found it dull (for some off reason) which is not the first impression I want them to see. Party of one seems like a good choice.

Lesson Zero is clearly the best episode by far IMO. Fluttershy wrestling a bear, Rainbow Dash blowing up a barn with her Sonic Rainbomb, Twilight Sparkle gone mad after forgetting to report to Princess Trollestia, there's no way in hell your mom can turn it down.

I'd show any of the two-parters. I like the meat of the show, but seeing the first episode is what indicated to me that this show isn't too girly for me to watch, and that it's actually pretty kick-ass. Besides those, I recommend Bridle Gossip, Lesson Zero, May the Best Pet Win, The Last Roundup, Ponyville Confidential or Dragon Quest. I think those are a bit more neutral in terms of gender expression, and they're all episodes that I really enjoyed. I think you should take into consideration, though, what kinds of things your mom likes. Like, if she likes comedy, Lesson Zero might be best. If she likes an epic story, one of the two-parters would be good, etc, etc.
