KenDoStudios 10 January 22, 2023 Share January 22, 2023 My Favourite Mane 6 Pony Fluttershy How did you find MLP Forums? sawtooth waves mentioned it and I was curious How you became a fan of My Little Pony I think my journey into the My Little Pony fandom began when I heard about it but initially ignored it because I saw it as a kids' show. At the time, I was a small, self-involved furry. But when the movie came out and I heard that it had broken box office records, and that not only little girls were watching it, but grown men as well, I became curious to see what all the fuss was about. I watched Season 1, Episode 1 of MLP: FIM, and afterward, I became a slow convert, or 'brony'. After that, I watched the four seasons that were available on Netflix, and started watching content creators for the My Little Pony franchise. Eventually, I mustered up the courage to make my first pony content on my YouTube channel, just to test the waters of my fandom. But it wasn't getting much attention until one day, my grandma died, and I began writing two pieces of fan fiction. (One of which is on fanfiction.net right now). The one on YouTube was a video of Twilight Sparkle comforting a depressed person and crying with them, and within the first week, it got 1,000 views. Then it kept growing and growing. So, I made a second one like that, and then a third, and pretty soon I had a collection of videos of ponies saying to the viewer, 'Life sucks, but I'm here' kind of content. But it was really popular, so right then and there I finally fell into the abyss and said, 'I'm a fan of My Little Pony.' I mean, I said it on episode 2, but now I'm not afraid to admit it anymore.
