Six walked out to listen to the tune. Feeling a surge of inspiration, he sat next to Katami and began playing his guitar in accompinament to the humming. He smiled at Katami as he played.

striker looked around thinking to himself < ah, young love > striker then walked back inside looking back at the two other ponies he had not yet met.

Katami smiled back at Six. When he joined in she stood up and started to sing. She occasionally went off key but she continued nonetheless, pretending to not notice it.

Six continued playing as she sang, he didn't even notice her going off key. Six was enjoying himself, the moonlit sky gave katami a glow that made her absolutely breathtaking. Six vainly tried not to blush as he played his instrument.

Katami took a breather and listened to Six' beautiful music.

'Amazing... He's so... focused!' she thought to herself as he played his solo. 'Oh my, i- is he... blushing?'

She quickly continued to sing and her eyes lit up as she began the final chorus.

As Six played the last few notes of the song Katami softly sang, "Kikoe-te-ru~"

Six finished the song with a final strum of his guitar, smiling at Katami as she finished singing. "Mighty fine singin there miss" he complimented to her as he reslung his guitar onto his back.

striker walked up to the two other ponies inside the observation tower, and looked at them curiously, with a small smirk under his lip's,

"hi, i'm striker" he said

''I take it I'm the only one here who isn't love struck?'' Said Splinter out loud as cocking an eyebrow.

"you think i am?" striker said in a humorous tone, "you saw the meteor shower? beautiful no?"

Katami chuckled.

 

"Thank you, but... It wouldn't have sounded nearly as good without your music. Where did you learn to play like that?"

Six shrugged, "Mah granddad taught me. Helped me earn mah cutie mark " he replied to her.

Katami sat back down next to Six.

 

"That's so sweet... It must be a lot of fun to practice your talent with family." she half-stated, half-asked as she started to fidget with her hairclip.

Six's smile faded, he looked at the ground with a sad look in his dual colored eyes, "Yeah..." he muttered quietly.

Six' change of demeanor startled Katami. She stopped playing with the clip and inched herself closer to him. "D- did I say something wrong? Are you okay?"

''Not everyone's life is Apples and Candy...'' Said Splinter out loud as rolling his eyes.

Six slowly shook his head, "Nah... ya didn't do nothin wrong... it's just... mah family... 'ain't been around' fer... a while" he said. He was never one to just flat out say his family had been dead for years, he never liked to talk much about it.

"i know my life sure wasn't! but why do you say that?" striker asked to splinter, "are you... jealous? that everypony fell in love except for you and me?" striker now said in a curious but also i told you so type tone's.

"O- oh, I'm so sorry for you," Katami responded.

 

She remained silent for a while and then took her hairclip out of her mane. She carefully fixed the clip in Six' mane before saying, "That's... a good luck token. It means a lot too me, it's supposed to help me find my own family but..."

 

She stared into six' eyes. "...J- just give it back when you've f- found them, okay?" Her voice cracked a little but she shrugged it off and she offered Six a hug. She failed to consider the fact that his family might have passed away.

Six sighed and gave a small sad smile, "Aint no need" he said quietly, taking the clip out and placing it back in her own hoof. "My family... they ain't alive no more... ain't no use searchin fer somepony who's dead..."

Supernova heard this, and turned towards them. "Oh, my family's somewhere in space. See, I grew up in the ISS, International Space Station. As much as I liked space, it was a bit lonely, so my nanna and I went back to land. When I was about five, my nanna died and shortly after, I got my cutie mark. I still don't know where my momma and pop are. Heck, they might be dead!"

"im sorry to hear that." striker said to supernova in a sad tone, "i never even met my parent's, and live in the everfree forest, thats all i wil tell you" striker said in a now hardend tone, but tried to cheer the last word's up a bit.

"Oh, I guess I've had a better life than you have. I'm sorry about making i sound like I'M the one you should feel sorry for. I mean, I was born and grew up in space, I have Splinter, my best friend, Raindancer, and as far as I know, my parents are still alive. I've got it pretty good." Supernova said with a sad tone.

"Yes, I guess you're right." Supernova rubbed her cheek against Raindancer's and kissed the pegasus on the nose.

"im sorry if made you feel worse! i was trying to put everything in a good light on your end, guess i made everything worse." striker said in a sad tone, "let me make it up to you! there is a bar a few block's from here, you invite your friend's or whoever you want and it's all on me!" striker said in a hopeful tone, " i might have it bad but doesn't mean i can't throw a small party here or there!"
