The contrasting values in their hair do much in giving an ethereal appearance: their highly saturated colouring is perhaps what gets my attention the most in this drawing. I appreciate that you were actually fairly elaborate with the ornamentations on their uniforms as well, and giving them detail such as with the patterns in the collars and the epaulettes: I know personally that drawing them could be tedious. This is a well drawn piece, and it is interesting to see them drawn in your style.

How long did it take you to draw this, and what was the drawing process like?

- According to Ibis Paint, it took me 16 hours to make it, but I think it was a bit less than that, at least 14 hours, as the app also counts the time where I do nothing in the drawing.

- About the drawing process, it wasn't that difficulty and tedious to be honest, and the reason for it is simply because I made this drawing "easier to be made", as yourself said, it's a art with a lot of details, my art style is simple, I never put too much details in my works, so when I need to make characters or things with a huge level of details, I use the technique "Make it look complex without being complex", it's kinda hard to explain, but basically what I do is make a line art with minimum details (as I always do), and leave the rest for the painting, because with the painting, I can use some lighting and shading tricks, these tricks help me to make the drawing look more "complex and high detailed", disguising the simplicity of the drawing. Shading and Lighting is one of the easiest parts of the drawings for me, I use this same technique when making Transformers fan art, the characters of that franchise are very detailed, so I always use these techniques to make the process for these drawings easier and faster, making the characters look super detailed without having a complex line art. Of course the results aren't going to be the same of those who make genuine complex line art, but it can be really helpful for those who don't have much patience or prefer to make simpler works, at least for me it is.

The tedious part for me is removing the imperfections and errors of the line art (lines getting over other lines, etc) ~☆

Sorry but when you showed me the reference for the drawing, you didn't say anything about Ghostie's cutie mark, and I couldn't recognize what it is through your drawing, so I basically made what I believe that cutie mark was, and I think it was a flame, hope you like it  ~☆

OH IT'S BEAUTIFUL! Yeah, the cutie mark is a will-o-wisp, a ghostly flame usually created from a spirit, so you got it correct
