I have the Idea of creating an Equestria Girls Cover Band with 7 female musicians (Vocalist, 2 Electric Guitars, 1 bass, 1 Keytar, 1 tambourine and 1 Drum).

My idea is first create a Youtube Channel when we can show some songs.

Then, if there's interest going to make shows in pony conventions.

What do you think about this? It's a good or bad Idea?

Someone did something like that before?

I think It's ambitious goal. You will need to assemble group of 7(!) people who:

- into MLP

- not afraid of being public

- skilled in music

- females

- preferably can meet IRL to jam

I don't wan't to tell ya it's impossible, but it may require really much work from you. Even if you will remove gender limitation and organize everything online.

There's a Saying here that sayz "If you pay, even Saint peter sings".

It's ambicious? Sure. For that reason I ask everypony if it's a good idea before putting money and effort in this idea XD Today I'm going to speak about with a manager who creates bands to see how this things can be done. But it's only in a "city" scale.

Ok then. What the 'good idea' means for you?

Will it pay off? No. Audience is small and keeps shrinking.

Will it be fun? I don't know. It depends on group you will assemble. If getting fun is the main goal, just remember that you do it for band members firstly, not for community in general.

Nah, I talked about that and it's a really bad Idea... I can't manage all the resources.

Well, at least another idea to the trash...

Thanks Guys!
