My OC: Lime Mint

I’m trying to come up with a cutie mark for my OC: Lime Mint. She’s a unicorn who works in Applewood as a Set Manager(Small extra information that might help:

  1. She’s Apathetic
  2. 19
  3. Older sister Lemon Mint runs a spa
  4. Younger half sister Skittles Mint is still in school but is class president
  5. Biological dad was a guard for Celestia and died in battle
  6. Love interest is Twilight Sparkle
  7. Has a fear of the dark, small spaces and snakes)

What does she look like? Does her special talent have anything to do with the job she currently has? If not, what else do you envision her being good at? A pony doesn't necessarily have to have a job directly tied to their special talent. Look at Rarity for example: her special talent is finding gemstones, yet she makes clothes. She doesn't necessarily have to use these gems in a design, so her special talent is indirectly tied to her job but not necessarily integral to it.

If you want her cutie mark to be tied to Lime Mint's job, then what makes her so good at being a set manager? Is she good at building the sets? Painting them? Designing them from the ground up but not being the one that directly builds them (I assume stage sets might need blueprints/concept art of some kind, but I don't really know anything about this particular profession)?

I haven’t finished her yet but this is the current design, her talent isn’t directly tied to her job. When I first thought about her, I imagined her as as assistant to Celestia, then I thought she could be a librarian, then she became a set manager. She’s good at keeping track of everything, has plenty of files on props (Like if they’re dangerous or need to be replaced), she likes everyone to be on time, everyone has to be in their place as do the props. She’s kinda like Twilight, everything has to be perfect and time is the most important thing.

(Job description of a set Manager: Set managers oversee operations on a movie set while filming. They can ensure that everyone is at the location, keep track of props and enforce the shooting schedule. A set manager may also have similar duties to a production manager, such as hiring people or helping design sets.)

(Here’s the art, still trying to make her more minty lime)

her design looks really cool so far!! maybe something like a clipboard or file since she keeps track of things? or you could do something that's more symbolic of her job like a scale or a gear (scale=balance and gear=things running smoothly)? or if you don't care about cutie marks being heavily tied to her job you could just do a lime with mint leaves behind it or something similar. if you don't have cutie mark designs for her sisters yet, you could make them matching somehow since they all have mint in their names?

Do you think the cutie mark should be on the cheek or in the eyes?

If you're talking about for the human design, I think either would look good! Although I think it would really stand out if it were in the eyes since there are already patterns on the cheek
