Sonic Racing Crossworlds

While I think it’s cool that we’re getting another Mario Kart game, but another thing I’m interested in is the new Sonic racing game, Sonic Racing Crossworlds. The crossworlds part of the title makes me wonder what it could be about. Do you think that we’ll be getting back the other SEGA characters like Sonic and SEGA All Stars Racing. I hope so.

Crossworlds heavily imply over crossover, which wouldn't be surprising given the series started out as a crossover. Honestly even just sticking the different Sonic universes, there's a lot of cool crossover potential, from the mainstays, to the Comic universe(Tangle, Whisper, etc) to the Classic universe(Fang, Mighty, etc.,), SatAM(Sally), Boom(Sticks), or hell, get crazy and give us Stone from the movies.

I do hope the go back to the Sega All-Stars crossover of the first two games, especially since Transformed was so good. Even if it's heavily Sonic-focused, there's still room for other universes Sonic's been a part of from other Sega mascots like Ai Ai and NiGHTS, to even shit like Mega Man and Mario

That said, if it's the wider crossover in line with Sonic and Sega All Stars Racing, all I ask is for Kiryu or Ichiban

i *know* its not gonna happen, but i really hope the "cross worlds" part of the title means a crossover of the kart racing gameplay we've seen more recently from sonic racing games, and the older sonic riders style of racing game sonic used to have, with the hoverboards and such.

i know its probably not gonna happen, since the trailer only heavily showcased shadow being in a car, and i have no idea how you would combine the two gameplay styles, but dangit i can dream xP

Not really excited or very interested by that one, the game only has "Sonic" in the title so we definitely can only expect Sonic characters. The pre-Team Sonic Racing games for me were cool because they were Sega racing gamings, and not Sonic racing games. The Sonic racing games that were interesting for me was the Riders series, I really like the new characters it introduced, the extreme gears and all that futuristic aesthetic that gave a lot of personality to it, really hope they bring back that spin-off someday ~☆
