How would an earth pony use scissors in mlp? Like, a Pegasus could use their wings and Unicorns use magic but how would an earth pony do it?

Navigation with the teeth would work to open and shut them.

Perhaps a different type of scissors is needed for this purpose, one that could be safely used by an Earth Pony.

They do not have hands or wings, or telekinesis

Something similar to a paper cutter guillotine would work. But instead of only cutting paper it could also be used to cut fabrics and wire.

There's more than one way to solve a problem like this, being a Pony in Equestria isn't as limiting as some people may think. Had the show gone into realistic detail about this, they would show Ponies being creative about these limitations. An Earth Pony could ask a Unicorn to craft them these guillotines to cut paper and other common household items.

Some time ago, I saw an image trying to explain how ponies can manage weapons for a mod called "equestria at war". The explanation seemed funny to me, so now I like to think that ponies have biomagnetic hooves for complex tasks such as using tools.
