Quillhelm let out a chuckle as a pair of clunky mechanical hands popped out from under the table, snatching up a glass of water from his tray and politely offering it to Wind Walker.

“How about your friends here—” He didn’t even get to finish the question before a loud explosion erupted behind the counter.

“Oh, not again!” Quillhelm groaned, already jogging off toward the chaos. “You’d think I’d get hazard pay for this…”

Rapid Quill: /got lost while teleporting and ends up teleporting in front of a rather large group of ponies just outside Sweet Apple Acres/ After giving his head a rub while groaning and mumbling under his breath, "okay, that's the last time I take directions from a griffon. Those grouchy feather brains don't know a screwdriver from a wrench." His face reddened when he sees the group and just smiles sheepishly at them while taking a large step back. "Oh um hello. Sorry I...I didn't mean to just...appear like that and I can see you are all very busy, so maybe I'll just... Oh hey while I'm here would any of you happen to know how to get to a certain grey, drab looking village? It's called, Greyvale and boy is it ever grey. Not that I'm up to something. I'm definitely not." His smile only widens as he says this and is clearly sweating like he's hiding something.

“Hello, Rapid Quill! I am Princess Pipp Petals of Zephyr Heights. It is SO AWESOME to meet you!” 😊*BIG HUGS*

Rapid Quill: His face reddened even more as his sudden appeared apparently scared the daylights out of a pink pegasus. "Oh I'm so sorry about that! I didn't mean to scare you or any pony else. I was actually trying to get to this village only to wind up here in Ponyville instead; which is only a fluke I assure you. I don't usually get erm...turned around." His eyes widened as the pink pegasus accurately guessed his name even though he had not given it. "Um how did you know my name? I didn't...tell it to you. Are you a telepath?" Suddenly finds himself in a tight embrace and since he is not accustomed to such tight hugs he starts to gasp for air. "Oh hey it's um nice to meet you too. A princess you say? That's wow... Usually princesses are also alicorns. But anyway, I like your mane. Who does it if you don't mind my asking?" Tries to wriggle himself out of the hug.

“Oh!”*Blushes* ”Yes, I know who you are, Rapid Quill. Have you met Princess Twilight, Princess Luna or Spike?

We need to find you a place to stay while you’re here.”

Rapid's red eyes blinked at Pipp when she showed him her phone. He had never seen anything like it before. "Wha...what is that thing? What do you do with it?" His eyes blinked again at the random fact about Luna being a wrestler. His eyes blinked even more in total confusion and disbelief when Pipp claimed to know him. He forced a laugh. "You know me? I find that really hard to believe considering we've just now met. I think I would have remembered you had we met previously. A place? Oh that's okay. I already have a home here in town. Really nice of you to offer though. Hm..."  He then studied her suspiciously. "Why, are you being so nice to me anyway? Do you want me to write about one of your exploits or something? Did my publisher put you up to this? That would be just like her to set me up like this."

"And no can't say I've ever actually met the Princess of Friendship and her friends in person before! But I've read about them in this journal of theirs they had published. It's really quite fascinating! I highly recommend you read it if you haven't already. It really shows in each of their lessons just how powerful their friendship is and how weak loneliness is. I hope to make many friends like they did, so I too can be powerful." Clearly from the way he droned on, Rapid didn't understand friendship and thought it was all about power much like Cozy Glow did.

Where does one acquire such a diminutive magical device?" Ears lowers as he overhears Pipp mention how unicorns are superstitious. He thought that he was only one of the few who was superstitious. He didn't know it was common with his race. He cocked his head curiously. "You mean all unicorns are superstitious? Huh...I didn't think they...we were. This is the first I've heard of it."

Pencil stayed quiet and observant for most of the conversations since they didn't involve her anyways except for a couple things that drew her attention.

Quillhelm took a deep breath as he wiped down the tabletops, flipping the towel over his shoulder with practiced flair. His eyes scanned the new group of visitors, @Nook Cranny @ExplosionMare

Then pausing on the bat pony.

“Well, would you look at that,” he said with a chuckle and a trace of sarcasm. “A bat pony who doesn’t burst into flames in daylight. That’s a first.”

 

He did a full-on spit take, water flying everywhere in dramatic fashion.

“Wait—Spike?! If you’re here, that means… Princess Twilight’s around too, isn’t she?

I personally believe that either Sombra or Tirek or even Cozy Glow was the evilest. Also as Twilight's assistant you must know the answer to this very pressing question, how many quills and scrolls do you go through in a day you think? I know I go through quite a bit quills and scrolls myself for reasons!" /telekinetically takes his book back and puts it back in his saddlebag/

/then notices Maud Pie and gives her a little wave/ "Oh hey there Maud won't you come over here and join us? Can you tell me which rock is your favorite? I know your answer is probably your pet, Boulder, buuuut besides him which rock would be your second favorite? Also also can you tell me one of your many poems about rocks? I want to hear one of them."

Which brings me to my next question, what would you do if those three terrible villains manage to get free from their stone prison?" /smiles as Spike mentions the green ones being his favorite gems to eat. Rapid had almost forgotten that gems was a favorite food for dragons. he then chuckles/ "I can safely say I have never once tried to eat a gem of any sort, so I'll have to take your word for it."

 

Free Thinker: /suddenly a minty green pegasus landed nearby and started stomping on some nearby flowers/

Rapid Quill: /spots him and just sighs as he watches him destroy some poor random flowers/ 'What's he doing here? He's going to ruin everything!' he wonders to himself more annoyed than anything.
