"Aww! You're very Welcome, Spike." Twilight smiled back tussling Spike's spines "Now, let's get home and eat before the burritos get cold and soggy."

Be back in a flash!" /laughs awkwardly at his own joke/ /teleports from his spot and reappears in front of Free Thinker and asks him in a hushed whisper/ "Just what do you think you are doing to those flowers? I thought we talked about this? If you want to earn these ponies trust you can't run around destroying their stuff. Wild flowers? Fine. But not ones clearly owned by some pony. What are you even doing here anyway? I thought we were meeting elsewhere to do the thing?"

Free Thinker: /sees Rapid appearing in front of him and just sort of groans as he scolds him/ "Yeah, well when you didn't show up I got bored and came looking for you. Imagine my surprise when I found you here...fraternizing with...with goody goodies? As for the flowers...meh I was just bored and they were there just begging to be destroyed by me! I really couldn't resist! Anywho, why do you even care? They're not even yours!"

Rapid Quill: /takes a deep breath/ "Sorry for being...late I just had...things to take care of."

Free Thinker: /just looks at him knowingly and smirks/ "Let me guess, you got lost, didn't you? I keep trying to tell you to stop with the whole teleporting thing until you got it under your control, but then you never listen."

Rapid Quill: /also sees Spike was no longer alone and had Twilight with him/ "Oh wow the Princess of Friendship herself! I gotta meet her! Maybe she'll sign my book! Be back in flash! Just try not to break anything in the meantime. Okay?"

Free Thinker: /rolls his eyes/ "Whatever...fan pony!"

Free Thinker as Fluttershy: /suddenly the mischievous changeling returns in Fluttershy's form and starts impersonating her just because he can and for the mere fun of it. he flies over and lands where he had previously trampled the flowers and acts all sad. he perfectly mimic's Fluttershy's voice/ "Oh my these poor flowers! Who could have done such a mean, horrible thing and why? These poor flowers never hurt any pony."

Without warning, the air shimmered like heat on pavement. A loud pop! echoed through the clearing, followed by a swirl of mismatched sparkles and confetti that somehow smelled like cotton candy and regret.

A chaise lounge appeared mid-air—upside down, naturally—and lounging on it with a smug grin was none other than Discord.

 

“Well hellooo, my little equines… and changelings,” he purred, flipping himself upright with a snap of his talon. “I sensed mild tension and a distinct lack of chaos, so naturally, I had to intervene.”

 

He floated down slowly, sipping chocolate milk from a glass that promptly ate itself when he was done.

 

“Don’t mind me. Just here to observe… maybe stir the pot a teensy bit. Carry on!”

He waved dramatically, his tail spelling out the word “chaos” in glitter behind him.

Free Thinker as Fluttershy: /sees Discord magically appearing and grins mischievously and mimics Fluttershy's voice and demeanor/ "Why hello Discord it's so nice to see you! Keeping well I see. Are you here by chance for tea?"

Rapid Quill: /eyes widen as he stares at Discord. he knew about him of course most people have. but he never expected to actually meet the guy in person/ "Oh wow it's really you! You're really here! Without warning, the air shimmered like heat on pavement. A loud pop! echoed through the clearing, followed by a swirl of mismatched sparkles and confetti that somehow smelled like cotton candy and regret.

A chaise lounge appeared mid-air—upside down, naturally—and lounging on it with a smug grin was none other than Discord.

 

“Well hellooo, my little equines… and changelings,” he purred, flipping himself upright with a snap of his talon. “I sensed mild tension and a distinct lack of chaos, so naturally, I had to intervene.”

 

He floated down slowly, sipping chocolate milk from a glass that promptly ate itself when he was done.

 

“Don’t mind me. Just here to observe… maybe stir the pot a teensy bit. Carry on!”

He waved dramatically, his tail spelling out the word “chaos” in glitter behind him.

Discord rubbed his chin, eyeing “Fluttershy” with a suspicious squint—but he was in a good mood today. After all, the crowd was lively, the drama was juicy, and the attention? Impeccable. Exactly the kind of chaos he could sit back and savor.

 

He burst out laughing as he watched Rapid Quill practically bounce with excitement over being his “biggest fan.”

“Oh, please. I can top that in my sleep.”

 

With a snap of his claws, a massive, glittering self-portrait—complete with his autograph and way too much sparkle—materialized and dropped right in front of Rapid Quill like a gift from the chaos heavens.

 

Turning toward the group, he locked eyes with Applejack and let out a theatrical scoff.

“You’re just jealous you don’t have a fan club.

“Ohh, boo! Such a dreadful accusation!” Discord gasped dramatically, putting on a mock pout—though his smirk kept breaking through.

 

“As it happens,” he continued, suddenly pulling a ridiculously large, glowing spell book out of thin air, “I just picked up a little something from the Universal Bookstore of the Multiverse, and I’ve been dying to try it out.”

 

He wiggled his eyebrows, the book hovering beside him and flipping open on its own.

“You lovely creatures wouldn’t mind being my test audience, would you?” He grinned wide. “I promise it’s only mildly unpredictable!”
