It may be ok depending on how the person uses their device, if they use it for work, programming, technical stuff then it is pretty much ok
But if the person is an artist, photographer or uses their device for anything creative then this is wrong. Because their wallpaper symbolizes their mood, because the wallpaper they chosen makes them "feel at home", makes them express themself and they picked it for a reason.

For example, someone can share a Photoshop brush or a virtual synthesizer preset to a private group, and you use it for your own work
