I still see your shadows in my room; irreplaceable are the sweet memories we shared. I find myself trying to hate you, yet cry day and night, hoping you'll change your mind. Easier said than done—I fear being forgotten by you.

 

Winter is coming again. Do you remember? The snow-blanketed West Lake still holds endless memories. My hands tremble with cold, breath forming clouds in the air. Cars pass by, but all I hear is your soft voice whispering in my ear. Oh, how beautiful! I can never remove you from my heart. Oh, how sweet! Your voice carries my ears away, dancing like butterflies, warm as spring sunshine—I can never fill the void left by your departure.

 

Maple leaves fall again; it's autumn. Wild geese fly south, the wind howls, and osmanthus will bloom soon. But do you remember? We ran together, and I gave you all the fragrance of miles of flowers. Not even the autumn wind could bring you back—for you are the dove of spring, the swallow of winter, the goose of summer. Daisies tucked in your hair, you were incomparable then, walking with such grace. My eyes could never leave you, for I was born to love you.

 

You are the warm spring sun, the shade tree in summer, the plum blossom in winter. You are the rising sun; I am the sunflower turning toward you.
