SharpWit 3,043 December 8 Share December 8 I'm so confused by the move for Netflix to purchase Warner Bros./Discovery. Not why they would, but just by it happening. I've been considering pausing my Netflix subscription because I've hardly used it, and I just downgraded to the Disney Plus and Hulu Bundle because it was cheaper than my previous one with ESPN which I never used, and I had the legacy version so it was slightly cheaper than the regular deal. I also did the Black Friday deal for HBO Max because they have some shows I want to watch, but now a whole bunch seems up in the air? I have Prime as well, but I feel like the vast majority of movies I pick still have to be rented? But I signed up for that for the delivery benefits so it's kind of whatever in the end.

Fluttershutter 3,509 December 9 Share December 9 None of them really. It's no different than cable was. Paying for fifty things you're not interested in or you've seen before for every one you do want to see.
Clawdeen 25,963 December 9 Share December 9 I have both but I think I watch more things on Disney Plus than Netflix these days. I barely touch Amazon Prime. *I’m Just Livin That Life* *Von Dutch* *Cult Classic But I Still Pop*
BritishBrony2012 912 December 9 Author Share December 9 To me, think of Netflix buying Warner Bros, I see more DC stuffs, as I'm UK, not sure which stream to see DC stuffs in the UK, like Disney Plus with Marvel stuffs. Also I had paramount plus for one month, and watch all Hey Arnold series (memorable) and two movies, and All glown All (Prefer that than Rugrats) and The Casagrandes, half of it until my subscriton stop. Snoopy Fan 15,659 Thursday at 07:49 PM Share Thursday at 07:49 PM Netflix for their original content, Disney Plus for my favorite Disney shows and movies, and Paramount Plus for my favorite Nickelodeon shows.
Moony the Cat 3,716 Thursday at 07:57 PM Share Thursday at 07:57 PM My Dream Team is Netflix/Disney Plus and Amazon Prime. 1. Netflix, because they have a lof of original shows i really love, examples would be Violet Evergarden, Bojack Horseman, The Haunting of Hill House/Bly Manor and so on. 2. Disney Plus for being able to watch Disney and Marvel stuff for free. And most importantly 3. Amazon Prime for basically letting me watch almost anything i want. Sure, in some cases i have to buy extra for Movies and Shows but at least that side gives me the option to buy anything that Amazon Prime doesnt have in their subscription, giving me the most content of all those streaming sides. And they have some originals i care about as well like The Second Best Hospital in the World, Preacher, Invincible and Lord of the Rings - The Rings of Power. 1 Sig made by Kyoshi
Dreambiscuit 12,513 Sunday at 10:24 AM Share Sunday at 10:24 AM I like Netflix best of all the streamers because it doesn’t mess around with shoving ads and commercials into every nook and cranny, and the navigation is good on some devices and systems, meaning they screwed it up for my FireTV stick but it still looks good on my PS4. Disney has a lot of stuff I like but I always have to wade through a mire of offensive material every time I log on, which shouldn’t be the case on a so-called family site. But I have a cheap deal on Hulu bundled with it so it helps somewhat. Warner, which owns HBO Max, is going to be merging with Netflix, and at the moment HBO is one of my most used streamers because it has just enough stuff I like and I can find my way around without battling ads every step of the way. The worst by far is Prime. Amazon promotes it as having zillions of movies and shows, but once you pay for the service you find that the vast majority of those movies and shows require an additional payment to watch them. They also have the audacity to charge a fee to remove the commercials, and still sneak ads in when you pause your movie. Much of the content is junk made by amateurs and film school hacks added on just to puff up the list of titles, but most of it is unwatchable crap. And when movie rights are sold to a different service, Amazon doesn’t remove them from their lists (again making it look like they’re offering more than they actually have); they simply send you a message that says it’s no longer available, AFTER you’ve already paid for the service of course. Peacock is starting to copy Prime’s crooked example and is hardly worth the effort. Paramount+ is okay but plays poorly on a FireTV stick and PS4. It’s fine though on Roku TVs. I like Crunchyroll a lot and it has reasonable navigation and no ads. It can be a little buggy at times but overall I like it. That’s the rundown of my most-used streamers as they currently stand.
