Song sat at a table reading a book "So what were we looking for a book on a orb?" he sai not taking his eyes off the book

(just making some more detail into how the library looks: the ceiling is about twenty feet high with a large crystal chandeleir. At the front there is a large fireplace with a roaring fire in it and in front of the fireplace is a large desk with a fancy, cozy leather chair (it is on this desk where Colt found the note) there is a read carpet going from the desk straight to the other side of the room where there are large double doors (now with a chair under them). At either side of the carpet runs eight pairs of double sided bookshelves, each about fifteen feet high. The walls are all made of bookshelves except for the right side of the library which has windows (one slightly ajar))

Starbolt started looking through the books.

"H-how it just ran straight through my shield I never encountered anything that can do that without any effort." She said nervously.

(OOC School brb in 8 hours ._. Krystal you can control Starbolt till I get back. Some of the spells she can cast are in her Char sheet which is in my signature.)

"Does the note describe what the orb looks like?" Sky asked Krystal.

"Just that it's made of glass" she continued searching the shelves for anything useful "and it also said that it may be 'lurking in the deep' whatever that means. Who knows what that means. I could be the name of a book it could be a... a... A POOL! It could be a pool!" Krystal said as a wave of realization rushed over her.

"Pool? Anypony see a pool anywhere here?" She asked

"We should be careful though, who knows what kind of monsters we will encounter in the water." Starbolt added.

"We need some sort of a diagram of this place. Everypony look for a map or blueprints, something like that." Krystal went back to looking through the shelves.

"Does the note say why we need the orb?" Sky asked.

"Well we don't need it, but it says that it could help us find Alexander and since were only going on speculations right now I'd say it would be worth finding."

"Oh okay well i think i might of found something" Sky said as he pulled out an old book titled the history of Brennenburg Castle "There's a map of the castles structure... but its 50 years out of date" Edited June 27, 2012 by Sky

"Well it's better than nothing. Does it show where a pool or some other bodies of water might be? Maybe even a moat?"

"Yea theirs a pool on the ground floor on the east side of the castle"

"Right if any of us get split up try and make your way back to the library it seems like the safest place in this castle" Sky said as he moved over to the door and removed the chair.

Starbolt readied her horn to put anything that came out of the door into a violent inferno.

Sky gave the book to Krystal and than began to slowly open the door. "If anything happens to me i want you to kno...." Sky was cut off as a grunt grabbed him from behind the door and dragged him down the hallway.

"Oh my gosh Sky!" He ran to the door and looked at the grunt horrified "Hey ugly" he managed to say

[Krystal 1,468]

"Sky!" Krystal leaped forward and flew towards the monster as fast as she could, hoping she'd have enough energy to knock its head off when she reached it.

 

Starbolt focused her magical energy on the grunt, trying to boil it from the inside.

Sky then passed out from the shock of the grunts razor sharp fingers stabbing into his body.

[Krystal 1,468]

The grunt started to steam as Starbolt continued focusing her magic.

 

Krystal's front hooves landed square in the center of the grunt's face, sending it to the floor. Krystal was now standing next to sky tring to pick him up. "Come on, I'm not done with you yet!" a look of pure determination on her face.

Song ran over to help with sky "Back to the library quick!"

Starbolt continued her spell, it seemed to be working, small bubbles were forming on the grunt's skin.

 

Krystal (carrying Sky) was able to get into the library "Close the door!"
