(I'm actually out of ideas for what the Kaernk could do. So if it's alright with Sky I give permission to the next pony to post to decide what happens next)

 

Krystal just froze and waited for what was going to happen next.

(You sure do know how to put a guy on the spot Krystal)

 

The Karenk walked round the corner but it didnt seem to notice the group of ponies. It then began to wail and moan while walking closer to the group untill it came to halt face to face with song.

Heet out a squel he was panicing "It's right there" he tought

"W-w-what should I do?" Starbolt asked Sky and Krystal.

[Krystal 1,468]

Krystal's eyes narrowed "Give it everything you've got"

[Glaceon 793]

Starbolt pulled Song back and shot a bolt of magic towards the Karnek then put a barrier between the Karnek and the ponies.

The magic hit the Karnek and exploded. It made horrible hissing noises and for a split second the monster became visible. Once invisible again it started pounding on the magical barrier howling and hissing at the same time.

Starbolt put all her focus and magical strength in the barrier. "I don't think i can hold it back." She said as she readied another bolt of magic just in case the barrier fails.

[Sky 746]

"Starbolt use a levitation spell on yourself everyone else fly up" Sky said as he began to fourm a thundercloud.

[Glaceon 793]

Starbolt tried to lift everypony up. She couldn't so she prioritized Song and Krystal lifting them both to the ceiling.

"I can't lift anypony else up." She said weakly.

[Krystal 1,468]

Krystal grew impatient and started to fly under her own power. She then propped herself against Starbolt's magical barrier and began flapping her flapping her powerful wings. Straining herself she sent gale force winds towards her friends, sending them flying down the hall.

Starbolt losing her concentration from the wind flew down the hall. But behind Krystal the barrier broke. "Krystal behind you!" Starbolt called out trying to warn her that the barrier is gone.

Now with nothing beneath her hooves to support her, Krystal flew forward and was met by the invisible body of the Karnek.

Starbolt ran forward and attempted to pull Krystal away from the Karnek with her magic.

Krystal felt her body being pulled away from the monster yet she remained in place as she felt an invisible claw digging into her gaskin.

"Somepony help I can't get Krystal away from it." Said Starbolt as she tried push the Karnek away.

Song rushed towards Krystal he grabbed her and limped his way away as fast as he could

Starbolt put a shield around Song as he grabbed Krystal.

[Krystal 1,468]

Krystal was slipping in and out of consiousness as she was being pulled away from the Karnek. The Karnek was about to persue when Sky flew over as fast as he could in his exhausted state to buck it in what he thought was it's face. Sky's back hooves met the Karnek right on a soft spot on it's head, the monster howled and hissed in pain as it swatted Sky right out of the air with an invisible arm. It then scurried away.

Song set her down panting he was in pain from his old injures "Its gone?" he said between gasps

[Krystal 1,468]

"My leg" Kystal said weakly "I can't feel my leg"

 

Sky had the wind knocked out of him. He was laying on the ground taking a moment to catch his breath.

Starbolt feeling nauseous from casting that much magic walked over to Krystal and examined her wounds. (Tell me what wounds Krystal has or something.)

(well on a human it would be a hole in between her ankle and achillies tendon. I don't know what it would be on a horse. If you google it you'll know what I mean)

 

Krystal gasped in pain as she tried to manuever herself into a more comfortable position.

Starbolt attempted to heal Krystal's wound with her magic.

"Stay still Krystal you'll be fine." Said Starbolt trying to reassure her.

Krystal tried to do as Starbolt said but she still squirmed a little.
