OOC: Yeah, but I'd have to make him go crazy again once he woke up and found he was in the tower he'd devoted his entire life finding, since I built up his char that way.

 

"Why are we here, Krys?" Paper said while shuffling through the many books alined on the shelves. It was much more than what Ponyville ever had, ignoring Splinter.

"I don't know abo-" started Paper, but slipped in a puddle.

Her hooves went flying everywhere, and knocked a bookcase from near the top and and her magic went AWOL, as she misdirected it, and it came crashing down onto Splinter, disrupting his reading, breaking the table in two, and shredding the last copy in the library with falling debris.

As she started to get back up, she noticed a book of alchemy, dogeared to a page with...WATERFALL droplets?

"Hey everypony, come look at this. Do you think that maybe Vortex has something to do with this?"

"Someone should really fix that leak in the roof" Krystal said as she moved a bucked over the puddle that Paper slipped in.

 

Krystal turned her head to see the oncoming brawl. "Well look at the time. It's really late, I should get going." She said nervously as she slowly backed up to the door and dashed out.

Paper's horn glowed a deep violet, the same color that then enveloped Splinter and held him in the air in a sort of stasis.

She snickered, and proposed to herself maybe slamming him into a wall...

 

"Oh, but Krystal, I think their used to be a waterfall here. Look at this book, and how a lot of these books are soaked," said Paperback, still holding Splinter in a vise grip.

A small smirk darted across her lips as she dropped the grey pegasus to the ground and held the book up.

 

"Look, all these books are soaked. There's water all over the floor. And he's NOWHERE to be found. That makes Vortex our #1 suspect. The evidence is tough, Krystal," said Paperback,"and that tower with the poison gas is pretty convincing as well," she concluded.

Colt flew into the town of trottingham, he was on vacation from winning his last archery tournament, he landed and began looking for a house to rent

Sunny, abandoning the other ponies who seemed to be a bit pre-occupied, noticed a flash of black touching down a little ways away. Black? she wondered to herself. I've never seen a black pony around here... He must be new! The very idea of a new prospective friend managed to put a grin on her face as she trotted over to the pegasus.

"hey!" he called to her "do know where i can find a house to rent?"

 

his saddle bag seemed pretty full, a few things stuck out, mainly a quiver of arrows, and an archery bow

Sunny let out a bit of a laugh. A house? Why would you want a house when you can just sleep under the stars, or anywhere you please? Other ponies in the town had houses, cottages, and such like, yet this was always puzzling to the little yellow unicorn. She simply couldn't comprehend why a pony would want to be tied down like that, unable to simply roam about and do exactly as they please. The free spirit in her kept her trotting about day and night, and ponies who didn't do the same were a bit of a mystery to her.

Vortex Wing flew right past Sky as Vortex went back to the library to check for the 2nd edition of the Equestrian Empire. "I hope they have it..." Vortex said anxiously.

Vortex Wing finally found it. "Yes! It finally came in!" Vortex took it, zoomed out the library and almost crashed into a streetlight from excitement. Vortex sat down on a bench, and began reading.
