Trying out some stuff in SAI

Today I decided to draw with just 2 tools (except eraser of course xDD) as an experiment. Plus I need practice with expression, so here it is:

It looks pretty good as a whole, but I have a few tips you might want to try. First of all, if you're going for a more cannon look, you should use less lines and the smooth tool (assuming you're using a tablet). Additionally, for the eyes, it's better to use clipping layers rather then drawing and filling them like the rest of the picture, but they look pretty good as is. As for the eye glare, you should use the airbrush tool with a larger radius. The blue and red contrast makes a good look for the picture, but I typically use a different color for the hair outline and the body outline. Nice addition of ear tear, but it's a bit excessive. Overall, it's a great drawing, but those are just my two cents. I look forward to seeing more art from you in the future.

I try to have my own style for drawing anything, but I'd like to do a more cannon looking drawing one day, so thanks for the tips The ear tears are a bit excessive, I'll work on those more.
