Hello, I don't create topics often so I'm not sure if this is okay.

Anyway, I know there are some fellow hunters that browse the forums so I decided to give this a try.

I made this thread to share ideas, hunter ID's and maybe even organize a hunting party or something.

I currently (and sadly) only own the Wii version, Monster Hunter Tri.

My character goes by the name Metzger and right now I'm hr 250. My ID is 3JKN6H.

Hit me up if you ever want to play.

It's probably the game I play the most on my Wii; I even found about this site through it.

I only used my Wii for Brawl, but I used it for Melee more often. I still had my Gamecube and my PC was dead. I wanted to play video games with my friends, since more of them had "advanced" consoles. I sold my Wii and bought a PS3, and then my Gamecube bricked ;~;

 

I'm still scrounging money together to buy another and a new copy of Melee, seeing as I thought I would be able to live on without playing it... I was WRONG!

I'll try and join you all again, it's just a thought still lingering in my head about the first monster hunter, and the fact and real possibility that the monster hunter tri community will too, eventually come to a close where we can no loner play together again. That's why I've been purely focusing on expanding my Xlink Kai so that I can play my psp titles with others around the globe.

 

Not to mention they're stalling more and more on furthering monster hunter frontier expansions, and monster hunter tri G is only being launched to the Nintendo 3DS

Well that probably won't happen until they release a new MH game for the Wii U, though I could be wrong.

Yeah, I thought about shortening it...

And about my sets, I think I'm liking having sharpness+1, evasion+1, speed sharpener and guard+1, so you deal decent damage and rarely get hit. lol

 

I think I'll try to get other MH games. o.o

Oooh well I meant for your OC, like what helmet do you wear, the ceadus helmet? or Steel, and torso, caedeus or steel and so forth. Oh and the weapon for your OC, I noticed the last time we hunted, you were using a greatsword.

It looks like you're charging your weapon at Kirin as it inspects you. lol

 

Well I feel like the game should have had more space for registered sets... I can't imagine how I would manage to have my sets ordered in other games where there are more armors.

I usually go for armors that give me extra attack or extra attack and evasion. lol

I like the Guild and Hunter+ mixed with Alloy+ Armors because they have handy skills.

Or I just gem in evasion to Lagiacrus, Vangis, Ceadeus... or a Diablos combined with Ceadeus if I'm using Great Sword.

 

How can you remember what I used? D:

I guess Great Swords and Lances are my favorite weapons...

Though I also came up with this awesome Pierce gunning set.

All that won't probably help deciding on the OC. lol

Not really, sometimes a cumbersome look to a pony (If done right and executed properly) can actually turn out to be quite exceptional and even highly valued for their originality if completely unique. Lol I'll try sketching up some concepts with that set up then ;3

Well then if you insist. Though I feel weird for having someone do sketches for me about an OC I haven't really decided. o.o lol

I still think you should just do a quick coloring of your original drawing and I'd still be quite thankful. :3
