Berlin State Parliament Pirate Party Calls For "Pony Time!"

I found this when looking through Tumblr updates and lol'd so hard! Hell it's also on Equestria Daily so a few of you may already know what I'm speaking of.

 

It is now a a rule among the Berlin State Parliament Pirate Party that if a debate were to get too heated any member could ask for "Pony Time!" If the majority supports the motion for "Pony Time" then the Parliament Party members would choose an episode of My Little Pony Friendship is Magic that is suitable for the current situation and watch the whole 20 minute episode to calm down the moods of the Party and help them focus on the issue at hand.

I'm don't know much about Berlin's government I looked up a little bit on the Pirate Party in Germany and they currently hold seats on State Parliament so we are talking about actual government officials (in Germany of all places) taking a time out to cool their jets and watch Ponies to help govern their country!

This is just awesome! For a country that once sparked a genocidal world war, I'd have to say that things are looking up for Germany's government if they keep watching Ponies (well it's only a small party that only holds 15/141 seats, but baby steps). More countries should try this exercise. Ponies can be very therapeutic to a group dynamic once everyone is calm and full of the Magic of Friendship!

 

Next time I'm in a heated debate no matter where it is I'm calling for a "Pony Time!"

I have a feeling that the Belgians thought of this first, and the reason why it's taken them over a year to form a government is because they've just been watching MLP over and over.

Here's a video of how it happened. Possibly the best things about it are "look at my horse" playing in the background, and the fact that the sound for the video broke, so they improvised over it. I genuinely think this is the funniest thing I've ever seen, especially "Ooh a book. I hate books! Y U NO PDF!".

 

 

It's just... These guys are actual politicians.
