The bible states that no one is to judge others except for god who will be the judge and juryMatthew 7:1 Judge not, that you be not judged. 2 For with what judgment you judge, you shall be judged: and with what measure you use, it shall be measured to you again.. So it is not our place to say whether you will be cast to hell or not. Only god knows Edited July 18, 2012 by Bronynonymous 1 [CLICK THE SIG FOR OC] (Signature created by Azura) Shinobu is best girl. ~Lawful Jordo~ 2,066 July 18, 2012 Share July 18, 2012 Alright, first off let me tell you that I am an Agnostic-Atheist. I don't believe in any religions, but I believe that it is somewhat possible for intelligent design. I have done good things my whole life. I have never stolen, murdered or raped anyone, I am not a bigot and I do not discriminate others based on gender, race or sexuality. I help out my community and I try my best to be an all around good person. My only apparent crime is not believing in your god. Now, here's my question: If, by some miracle i'm wrong and the christian god does in fact exist, would I be doomed to a fate of eternal suffering in hellfire? I have not wronged anyone in my lifetime and I try my best to do good, but would simply not believing in god be enough reason to warrant eternal torture? Would say, a christian who hates gays and beats his wife fare better than me for the sole reason of believing in god? I would like your opinion on this, not 'I don't know, i'm not god'. I wan't to know what YOU think. PS: I'm not bashing Christianity in any way, this is a serious question. 3 Signature by Klopp Wonka ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Officially taking Art Requests!: http://mlpforums.com/topic/65291-im-pretty-bored-taking-art-requests-3/

I wan't to know what YOU think. PS: I'm not bashing Christianity in any way, this is a serious question. I have already answered this question somewhat. No one can judge you for being a christian or not. ONLY GOD KNOWS! Any christian who says "your going to hell" is not really a true christian, because they have no right nor authority to tell you whether you are going to hell or not. When a christian does this, he is taking away god's power of judgement. Not only is it wrong to tell someone if they are saved or not, but it is also wrong to discriminate others based on whether they are a believer. God doesn't want us to force religion down others throatsMatthew 7:6 "Do not give to the dogs what is sacred; do not throw your pearls to pigs. If you do, they may trample them under their feet, and then turn and tear you to pieces. This can mean many things and apply to many situations but it works just as well for this situation. In this situation it means that if someone doesn't want to listen to what a christian is telling them then that christian need to stop what he is doing, it might create more of a problem then it is worth. God is judge and jury, no one, not even I know if I am going to heaven for sure. I can't know because I am not god. I wan't to know what YOU think. PS: I'm not bashing Christianity in any way, this is a serious question. All I have to say is that, everyone is born with sin. Every since the fall of man, even though you are a good person doesn't mean you won't go to hell. In the bible there is a story of a roman centurion who was very religiously devout and never treated any of the jews wrongly. Even though he was a good person, he was still going to hell. The one only thing o avoid is to have a relationship with Jesus Christ. I don'y view christianity as a religious system. I view as having a personal relationship with Jesus. Do you think that it's possible for other religions to also be "right" about life after death, the origins of the universe, etc. ? If not, what makes christianity truer than the other religions? Christian is viewed as a religion but it is really a relationship with the ONE and TRUE living God.... Am I going to Hell because I don't believe in religion, and I've had "mature" encounters with my fiancee? Well everybody was doomed to hell since they first born. All you have to do is ask jesus help you y coming into heart. Having a relationship with Jesus is only thing to save you. What do you think of other christians condemning bronies? (Go look up 'Crazy Christians' on youtube, it's a whole hillarious series on youtube.) those people are the 1-5% of christianity which is called "the extremists". The one only thing o avoid is to have a relationship with Jesus Christ. I don'y view christianity as a religious system. I view as having a personal relationship with jesus But that leads me to my next point. How can a loving god possibly justify sending good and pure hearted people to eternal torture just for not worshiping him, while at the same time granting a Christian who may hate gays or something equally terrible salvation? It seems that god is more ruthless than loving in that perspective. Even if I did believe in god, I don't think I could bring myself to worship a deity who would punish good people for not worshiping him. I must ask; do you personally worship god because you agree with his ideals, or because you fear damnation? In my eyes, it doesn't really matter how powerful a man (or god) is, I will not betray who I am just to avoid punishment. I like to think of it like this; if I lived back in Nazi Germany where hitler would threaten anyone who didn't agree with him with death, I would still not worship Hitler. That was a radical example to be sure, but as far as god goes; I will not hate the gays, I will not hate those who disagree with me, I will not hate people of different religions just because someone bigger than me threatens me. Instead, I strive to love my fellow man. People need compassion, understanding and tolerance to reach salvation in they're own lives, not hate eachother for being who they are. I just can't worship anyone who promotes so much hate. If that means I will burn forever, then so be it. I will never compromise who I am. This is not a bash on your beliefs, this is just a serious issue ive had with the Christian god. Please don't take any offense, because I meant none. I just want to hear what a Christian has to say about this. I just want to hear what a Christian has to say about this. First off, about christians hating gays...we don't....actually a lot of churches want to be open to gay people.Second God is God of everything so he is loving yet just but remember he gives THEM the choice wether or not they want salvation so if the good person wants to deny then that is his choice but some people don't believe and that is there problem so in the end it is FREE CHOICE. But there is more to this matter and I will ask a pastor this question for you if you want. What made you think of making this thread? And /)... I'm Christian as well. Not that I want credit for it or anything but I'm still curious as to why Jesus is given credit for it when nobody else seems to be Well lets put like this...Jesus who was and is 100% God became 100% Man yet was 100% God then died for sins by recieving the worst earthly punishment at the time which was a roman crucifixion...he did that because he loves so much that he would like not a single one to perish. Because there are some people who have not had the chance to even be subjected the the bible nor religion (people in tribes of africa etc.) But at the same time I think that if you have heard of salvation, it is your choice to believe it or not, free will and all. But does that mean you will automatically go to hell? How would we know, only god knows if someone is going to hell or not. Although, I bet you that will be something he will talk with you about come judgement day. 1 [CLICK THE SIG FOR OC] (Signature created by Azura) Shinobu is best girl. One sin is not viewed more bad than another sin in the eyes of the lord. and the only way you can get rid of your sin is beg the lord jesus for forgiveness. He is the one who died for our sins.
