My FIRST screencast EVER!

 

My friends was raging about the "impossibility" of this game called "QWOP", and naturally, I set out to prove him wrong........only to fail miserably myself... And now, I get to share my failure with all of YOU!

I just changed the format like 6 times... Hopefully, this one is a little more functional.

Enjoyed the video, I remember when I tried QWOP, I made it to about 11 meters and quite as well .

Thanks! I'll try and find more games to screencast and commentate. With any luck, I might just have a series going before too long!

 

And assuming I get over the awkwardness of this game, I'll try and break 11 meters.

You could also do console games, I love watching commentary walkthroughs on those, especially on harder difficulties!

Once I get some more versatile screencasting software (CamTasia is just barely good enough for stuff like this, but it's free, so I shouldn't complain), I'll definitely move up to console games. I predict my first console game screencast will probably be Bioshock, or Bioshock 2, since I've played through them so many times.

It is hard, but once you get the hang of it, it's kinda easy.

 

The furthest I've gone was something like 42 meters...

Once I get some more versatile screencasting software (CamTasia is just barely good enough for stuff like this, but it's free, so I shouldn't complain), I'll definitely move up to console games. I predict my first console game screencast will probably be Bioshock, or Bioshock 2, since I've played through them so many times.

 

Do you play any of the mario games? Super Mario and the Lost Levels, for example, is a great game to do a commentary on.

I nearly killed that guy to get to 11.8! Ugh.... I think it's safe to say my next screencast probably won't be THIS game...

Yeah... It was more like I got lucky. My average around that time was upper teens, boosted by a couple of 30s and a lot of 20s, not to mention the early fails.

Very true! It'd definitely be a pretty interesting bit of gameplay, and likely even more interesting commentary. I'm also considering Resident Evil 5, Uncharted, Halo: Reach, Amnesia, Portal 2, the possibilities are endless!

I might've guessed that the guy doesn't actually die from all these fails.... It's just that disturbing crunching noise that you hear whenever he lands on his head.... Definitely not a sound that says 'I'm still alive; let's try again!".

That looks like SO much fun! I'd definitely be open for a few co-op screencasts/walkthroughs, like that, or Portal 2, or maybe even The Mercenaries in Resident evil, but I'd need a consistent partner to make it work.
