A public apology to the moderating team involved.

False Perception

Recommended Posts

(edited)

I'm apologizing to the moderators involved in any of my previous antics today. I apologize for inconveniencing all moderators in question due to bypassing the character limit. I apologize for spamming the statuses with long and pointless posts.

I apologize for spreading slander about some of the moderators.

You are free to lynch me.

Also, the spirits are telling me that you guys probably should take a note here, and NOT do this. It's not cool having to wait 2 hours for a post to be approved because you swamped them in reports. It was all my fault.

EDIT: Wait, why was this approved? I thought Feld cut this down.

I didn't see what happened, but I know it takes bravery to apologize for one's wrongdoings. Sometimes forgiveness takes courage too, but without forgiveness, what would we have left? :)

It's one thing to hide behind your computer screen to cause havoc on the internet. But to apologize like this takes real guts. If I was a mod, I'd accept your apology!

When has lynching made much of a mess, Whiteshade? In any case, why is this topic only active when I am on...?

Are you a moderator? No? Then this isn't an apology to you. You were lead here by shameless advertising. Besides, the status in question wasn't asking a direct question so it wouldn have been impossible to answer it correctly .

If you say this as an apology, then why did I get spammed to be here!? Da heck! .

I know right.

Also, I think that it's very nice of you to apologize, but I also think it would have been more sincere if you just sent a PM to all the moderators saying you're sorry. When you do it public (I'm not saying you are) it sounds like you could be just wanting attention.

There is nothing wrong with a little attention. It's good publicity too. He's my attorney, do you think he didn't calculate this out beforehand?

He can't get all mad at someone posting on his thread because that individual is not a moderator. If he wanted that, he would have PM'ed them, not made it public.

You obviously don't know me well Dragonshy. It was a joke, I wasn't trying to be mean. A public apology involves a sense of humility and shame for recognizing I was in the wrong.
