The first highlander I saw was the t.v. series. I watched and liked the first movie. I think Duncan in the series was much better than conner was in the movie.

The whole series in on Youtube. It has 4 seasons, there's also a spin-off seiries called the Raven, but I haven't watched it yet.

Methos was very old (a couple thousand years older than Duncan) and by that should be very powerful, but he always seemed to stay on hallowed ground.

Yes, it does look rather sporting. I didn't realize that his post Bond era involved trippy, psychedelic, acid movies.

Zardoz is alright, I own the movie, I own a lot of movies (on VHS) best format...

That was first Highlander movie I saw as a kid, I have it and the Renegade cut on VHS. I haven't watched to see if if it's any better than the full cut though.
