The other inmate had finished unscrewing the bolts of Maker's cell door since his didn't open for some reason. The door fell into the cell with a loud clank, and the other prisoner advanced towards Maker, apparently starting to pull something out of his jumpsuit.

Maker didn't let him live long enough to pull anything out.

He charged towards him, knocking the other inmate down, jabbing the shiv through his neck repeatedly. As blood stained Maker's jumpsuit, he finished, knowing the other prisoner had no chance to begin with.

Maker stood up, and placed the shiv back into his jumpsuit. He knew he needed to leave now, so he ran out of his cell, pushing through the crowd outside of it.

Sky sat on Martins bunk but was so angry with Vinly that he felt like he had to do something physical. He went outside the cell grabbed an immate and began to take his anger out on the inmate by beating him to a pulp. After he had calmed down from nearly killing the inmate Sky went through the hole in Martins cell grabbed the picaxe that was lieing there and began to smash at the wall.

Surge was is a quite rage. As he walked through the riot everyone stopped and made a path. One inmate took advantage of the open shot at Surge and shancked him. Surge stood there and look down at the inmate and picks him up by his neck. So you think your bold kid???? You think you got balls kid! Surge then used all his strength and slammed him into the wall. The inmate died on impact and was stuck to the wall as Surge walked off. Surge got to the lock up door and pulls it off the hinges, walks out and puts it back it place. The guards try to stop him. STAND DOWN NOW!!! THIS IS YOUR LAST WARNING!! Surge keeps walking not taking note of the guards. He goes to the door that leads out to the yard. He sits at the door. Open the door. He said in a calm rage. Get on the ground now! Can you...open...the door. As his voice starts to change. We are not going to say it again! Get on the ground! Surge ask one more time. Can you Pleas....Open....The Door??? The guards give the order to take him down. Then Surge rips that door off its hinges as well and throws it at the guards. He then walks out into the yard and sits down and watches the sunset. As a tear rolls down his face. He whispers. I trusted you.

Ever since he threw the inmate in the shoe the guard captain was in the security room with the warden. They were going over how they were going to get the inmates under control when all of a sudden something they didn't expect appeared on one of the TV screens. A lone, large, inmate just ripped through two doors and incapacitated half a dozen guards. Then he just sat down in the middle of the yard doing nothing.

"Da fuq..?" The guard captain said.

The warden turned to him "Well? What are you doing here? Go get him!"

The guard captain shook himself out of his trance of awe and disbelief and did as he was ordered. He rounded up half of the prison's guards and they quietly positioned themselves around the fence of the courtyard. We don't have time for subtleties the guard captain thought. He gave to order and all of the guards fired a stun bolt from their horn. The amount of magic was so intense and bright into the one spot were Surge sat that it was likely visible from Canterlot.

 

(OOC: Okay, I know that Surge is sort of a major badflank but seriously; unless you go kamekameha style there's no way you're walking away from this conscious.)

Back in the Shoe the inmate was trying to make out what the etchings say.

Lionheart just sat on his bunk and watched as Sky went through the hole, then Vinyl. He looked at Luke. "What's with them?"

 

Just as he finished his question, he heard the prisoners rile up again. "What the hell?" He saw the large crowd of prisoners fighting something that he couldn't see yet. Then he saw several bolts of magic fly up through the crowds. "Oooooh no... "

"..." Sky stared at her blankly. For all he knew she might have just put that capsule in her mouth as she came down. "Then why did you do this to yourself?" Sky asked as he pointed at her hoof. He was unsure if he could trust her anymore which sadden him seeing as he felt like he had a bond with her.

"If we have enough time to mine." Lionheart replied. The guards are here to break up the riot, the inmates might keep them at bay for a little while, but I don't know how long it will take them to get through." He turned around. "How far are they on the wall?"

Once Surge collapsed to the ground the guard captain poked him with his hoof Yep he's down he thought "Alright take him to the hole"

 

The hole: it's like the shoe but the wall's aren't sandpaper and they aren't electrified. Also there's just barely enough room to stand and lay down and you'll get a small daily meal with water. So basically it's just a really small pitch black room.

 

The captain got back to the surveillance room where the warden was waiting for him. "I think I've got an idea for how we can control the inmates without loosing any of our boys" they start discussing...

Maker pushed through the crowds, eventually reaching another cell (Martin and Lionheart's cell). This one had bed sheets hanging down, blocking what people could see inside. Guess I'm not the only one here who has common sense, he thought.

He walked up to it, and pushed on the cell door. It creaked, meaning it was weak. If anyone inside that cell had the same idea and mentality as his own, they could make a could ally. Maker just wanted to survive, and it would be best if he was in a group of some sort, which is why he hoped there were two inmates inside the covered up cell.

He reached through the bars and tugged on the sheets. There was no way he'd pull them off. He listened, and could barely hear someone talking. He knew someone was in there. He knocked on the bars of the cell door, and said, "Hey, someone in there? Let me in. Please."

Luke jumped up and stuck the knife around the sheet. You better run along before you get hurt. He said walking around the sheet and out the cell doors but making sure the pony couldn't see in. Shoo. He said flicking the knife and pointing towards the opposite end of the cell block.

Maker was about to pull out his own shiv until he came to a sudden realization. The pony he was talking to was with the others. The ones he suspected of escaping. This could be his chance! He could escape, too, if he could convince them!

Maker spoke up and said, "Wait, I've seen you before..."

Surge woke up with some of his body still numb. He had recognized the room he was in with no surprise. Ahhhhhhh man........Should have seen this coming. Well now would be the best time to get my mind straight. Surge sits on the floor and starts to meditate. Control your breathing. Breath in.........Breath out. Clear your mind. He stars to free his mind and relax. But then he thinks about Vinyl and what had happened. No! Clear your mind. Clear your mind. Clear.......your......mind.......He cant focus. All he can think about is why she would do that. And was she planning something. Aaaahhhhggggg! I cant even think straight right now. Starts to get mad again and puts a hole in the wall. No. No. Now now Surge. Just sit back down and meditate. Take your mind off the world. Think of your family. Your son......your little girl.......Freedom......

 

Down in the Shoe.
