The wastelanders are ponies who were P.O.Ws and ex-soldiers that band together to take what they want form who the want. Some of them are changelings and cross breeds of ponies and changelings. They are a merciless group. Killing anypony that gets in their way.

Her face took on a more concerned look.

"How do you plan on getting to The solar palace conner?"

"are you leaving for it tomorrow?"

 

Some murmurs spread around the room of survivors.

"Well I'm not sure If I will be making contact with the Solar's at all to be honest, I'm just trying to find all the food and supplies that I can. Canterlot just seems like the most logical choice.."

 

Connor replies, ignoring the whispers in the back.

 

"My son and I will probably leave first thing in the morning."

"That is true all of us can't stay here forever, supplies will run out and everyone will be forced to leave eventually." replied Lightning.

"it is the most logical choice i can think of over dying of starvation."

Connor thought he might as well offer, she has been good enough to Connor and Jason so far anyways.

Yes that is true. But you must not have heard me say Diehard lives in the solar palace in canterlot. Thats his home and where he takes the rest of us till we are ready to move on. He'll be back in the morning to take us there.

She left for the bunks to get some sleep.

Dizzy sighs. If you dont think you can wait then you should leave at the first roar of the manticore. It will be just before everything wakes up, and right after the wastelanders go back to their hide out.

 

The next morning at the palace Diehard wakes up to the screams of the child. AHHHHHHHHHHGGGGGGGGGGG!!!!!!!!!! WHERES MY ARM!!!!! ITS GONE!!!!!!! The mother wakes up and holds him tight. Its going to be ok son. Its going to be ok. She holds him in tears. Well i see somepony is up. Trust me kid this is not going to be easy but i will help you through it. Im working on a new leg for you and ill finish it when i get back from the safe house. Back at the safe house. Are you three sure you want to go? Die hard should be here soon, and i know he will except you in. Is there any way to change your mind.

Opens the door. Its good to see ya Diehard. You really do live up to your mothers name Dizzy. Leans over and looks at the new three ponies that were there. And who are you three lost souls? How did you find my safe haven?

Another Stallion enters the room.

 

"Well, my name is Connor, and this is my son Jason" Connor puts his hoof on Jason's back, who doesn't dare look up at the stranger.

 

"And this is Lightning Flash" He says as he gestures towards Lightning.

 

"We were just looking for food and safe shelter when we sort of stumbled onto this place."

she didn't really care to draw any attention to herself

so she made it a short response

 

"so your the diehard we have been hearing about hmmmm?" she said to diehard.

Very well and yes my main safe house is in canterlot. Its the only place that has not been overrun but abandon. I have room to bring you with me, but hurry i saw some movement it the woods near by. Loading the other ponies in the cart. Ok is that everypony? Yes sir thats it. All of them are accounted for. Good lets get out of here before anything craz.....ahhghghghg!!!! Just then Diehard was pulled out of the wagon by a mob of Wastelanders. You want to know where you went wrong wretch? You let us live. Guys! As he fought to talk. Take them back to the safe house! But sir! GET TO THE GOT DAMN SAFE HOUSE!!!!!!!!!!! NOW!!!!!!!!!!!!! As they flew off into the dark Diehard was left to fight on his own. You should have had your friends stay to help you. Now you will die here in this hell hole of a town. I gave you mercy once. But this time Standing on hind-legs and blades come out of his front hooves You will wish you could die quicker. She bucks one wastlender up then turns to the adjacent one and brohoofs its face, killing both instantly.

"we can't hold them!" screamed diehard, "we need reinforcements!"

It all happened so fast. A group of men started attacking the wagon. Diehard and lightning began fighting them off, Connor wished he could help, but he knew he had to protect his son above anything else. He held Jason tightly and turned his head away.

 

"Don't look!" He said to Jason.

 

Jason continued to cry.

"only a few left" shouted dizzy

As Deathdealer goes into a blind rage and starts kill any and everything in sight. (But back on the wagon. Dizzy we need to go back! He needs us! No! Hes got this. I have never seen that look in someponies eyes since my mother was alive. They arrive at the Solar palace and await for their return. So now what do we do? We wait till they come back. If they are not back by the time the storm comes in...Ill take over.)
