What could the future hold?

Hello everypony. While looking at the eye mutilating G1,G2, and G3 a thought came to me. What would we see after Friendship is Magic? what could we expect to see from G5 (if there will be one)?

 

My Little Pony has come a looooong way to become the show it is now but as we all saw in G3, things can become scarily deformed after time.

 

The question is simple, what do you expect to come after the glory of Friendship is Magic?

I hope a POV from a younger generation like the CMC and others grown up.

HOPEFULLY Hasbro will do the smart thing and try not to change anything drastically.

Something tells me I wouldn't like the next Gen of Ponies..Unless it is of course the CMC but even then who would the other three Ponies be?

well as long as they aren't babies... I heard rumors that someone, i don't know if it was Hasbro or not, was planning on starting a show exclusively for older audiences. It will never happen but it would be really cool if it did

I think Hasbro will leave the series at g4 for a couple more seasons, since the show has become more popular. I do want to see what the CMC look like when they grow up, but only for like one episode.

Here's the thing about g5. Friendship is magic has been overly successful and is probably the most successful of all the Hasbro shows. I think anything after FIM (unless it's the same writing staff, the same art-staff, and the same director.) will be very bland in comparison. Now... if G5 is a continuation of G4 or it has the same staff working on it then it will probably be great.
