Krystal woke up in the woods with no memory of how she got there. The night is jet black and between the darkness and the fog she can't see more than eight meters in front of her. And the sound... it's quiet... deafeningly quiet... and every hoofstep is only amplified ten fold from the silence. The air is still, cold, and moist. The trees are eerie and concertedly twist to hinder her view. Behind her is a fence that extends beyond her view in both directions. In front of her is a dirt path leading into the woods.

 

Krystal slowly got up and looked around "Where the buck am I?" she asked herself. The frigid air made her shiver and it felt like somepony was breathing down her neck. Cautiously, she turned around just to make sure... there was nopony behind her, in fact there was nopony in site, yet she couldn't help but feel like she was being watched. Staying where she was was unproductive so she started heading down the small dirt trail into the woods. She had no idea where she was going and there was nothing but endless identical trees as far as she could see (which wasn't that far through the fog and darkness). "Hello?" she she quietly asked through the night "is anypony there?"

Starbolt awoke to a cold damp muddy floor. "Where am I?" She said aloud. Last thing she remembered was going to bed in her house.

"Hello?! Anypony here?!" She asked, there was no response. She looked around and studied the area. Trees and more trees, she was somewhere in a forest. There was also a thick eerie fog in all directions. Starbolt cast a basic illumination spell. She looked around and saw a dirt trail, she decided it was best to see where the trail leads.

Fae woke up. She looked around and saw a few trees. She wondered where was Starbolt and how she arrived here. 'At least it's a forest.' She thought feeling at home here. 'Too bad it's dark and I can barely see.' She flew around for a few minutes. She knew Starbolt was here she could feel it. 'Starbolt if you are anywhere in a forest launch a light in the sky.' She tried to tell Starbolt.

Starbolt heard what Fae said and felt relieved by the fact she wasn't alone. She launched a magical light towards the sky. It was quite bright but the fog dimmed it. The light was only visible for around a hundred feet Starbolt estimated by the intensity of the light from where she was standing.

 

(OOC Just tell me if I can't cast a certain spell and I can edit it out Krystal.)

Yavolin awoken up on the ground he had no idea were he was or who he was. He started to walk around trying to find out were he was he though to himself."Were the blast i am i"? and how did i get here"? Yavolin walked forward into the cold dark night believing he'll find his own way out or that is if he can.

Sky awoke with a massive headache. He got up and tried to look around but everything was blurred and it was too dark to see anyway. The air was cold and the atmosphere was eerily. "Hello is anypony there?" Sky shouted.

Fae saw only a small dim light. 'I saw that Starbolt.' She said to Starbolt as she flew towards the source.

Starbolt heard a small shout somewhere far away. "Hello!?" She shouted back. 'I'm sure I didn't imagine that. At least Fae is on her way.' She thought as she stood in the small glow of her light.

Lapis Lazuli awoke slowly, eyes fluttering open. He gave a look around, checking to make sure Asteria, his young assistant, wasn't lurking in his room. It only took him 3 seconds to realize this wasn't his home. He could barely see around him, but he felt like this was a woods of some sort. The fur on the back of his neck prickled up. He could tell something was definitely was amiss. Where was Asteria? Where was he? "Well, this is an unusual way to start my day..." he grumbled.

Sky heard a shout and tried to run in that direction. "Hello. Is somepony th... Aghhh" Sky ran straight into a tree and shouted in pain. "Son of a barrel." He cursed extremely loudly as blood began to drip down his forehead.

Starbolt was sure she heard somepony. "I heard you!" She yelled back.

Fae arrived next to Starbolt. "There you are." Starbolt told Fae. She signaled for Fae to follow her and they set off in the direction of where the voice came from, Starbolt's light illuminating the way.

(OOC Okay I'm sleeping in 10 minutes post fast and I'll try to reply.)

Lapis's ears perked up. He had heard somepony exclaim in pain. It sounded distant "Hello? Anyone out there?" he shouted in no particular direction. Just for good measure, he yelled all around him. The feeling of being watched was growing. He was getting nervous. "Hello, can anyone hear me?"

Yavolin thought he heard something but it must of been his mind playing tricks on him. He continued to walk into the forest no sure about were he was going but it had to be better than here , but by accident he snapped a twig but he didn't care he though he saw something but he wasn't sure what it was.

Starbolt heard another shout from a different direction. She concentrated and began to cast an illumination spell.

Fae helped by augmenting Starbolt's spell with her own.

Starbolt fired the bright illumination spell towards the sky. This spell was at least three times stronger than the last spell she cast.

"Thanks Fae." She said to her friend.

Not willing to take a chance waiting, Lapis glazed into the darkness. It didn't look like there was anypony or anything living around. But, he couldn't see very far. He slowly moved towards what appeared to be a tree. Suddenly, Lapis spotted a blinding light, but it faded quickly. "What ever that was, it's better then sitting here." Lapis realized that he might not be the only one out here. Pointing himself in the direction of the flash, Lapis cautiously moved forward. Behind him, he could feel a presence, but he shrugged it off.

Ivy woke up and looked around, she hated the fog. She hated to be alone really. She got up and looked around she couldn't see much it didn't panic her, what got Ivy was the sound she could hear or couldn't here it was silent. She started to walk around but her own hoof steps started to scare her. There was a flash of light that made Ivy jump, she just stayed still before whispering to her self. "Maybe i'll just wait it out till day"

"Follow the light!" Starbolt yelled hoping they would hear her. She felt some odd presence watching her. She looked around and saw nothing except for Fae and some trees. She stood there and waited for them to arrive.

While Krystal was slowly going down the dirt path she saw a dim light in the sky far to the left of her. She looked around "Good as any other direction" she went off the path that she was following and cautiously headed towards where the light was. Eventually she reached where she guessed was just below where the light came from. She noticed hoofprints in the mud she was standing in. They lead back into the woods. Just then Krystal saw another light, this time it was much closer and much brighter. She trotted in that direction but this time she picked up her pace. She could hear somepony saying to 'follow the light'. "I'm coming" she yelled ahead of her.

Lapis faintly heard a voice. Something in it felt calming some how. Although he had barely heard the voice, it was clearly pony, and seemed capable of being trusted. The feeling of being watched did not ease as he drew closer to the source of the voice. The air seemed to hang with a sense of dread. "Hello, can you hear me?" Lapis had to choke it out. The dread was constricting his throat, filling him with fear. The entire ordeal was unpleasant to say the least. But, Lapis would not allow what ever lurked beyond his limited field of vision to get to him. Certainly it could be no worse than anything else in this world. Lapis fought the urge to curl up into a ball and lay on the ground. He continued his trudge forward.

Yavolin saw a light in the sky so he decided it to follow it but as soon as he saw something out the corner of his eye he started to run. All he had to do is find the one who cast the light his heart beat very rapidity, but he didn't care he had to get away.

Starbolt looked around and brightened her illumination spell. She definitely felt something watching her. "Fae you feel that?" She asked Fae. 'I don't feel anything Starbolt, sorry.' Fae replied. Starbolt felt the urge to run away but decided to stay. She heard somepony say they were coming. "I'm over here!" She yelled back.

'I'll look around for that thing you are so worried about Starbolt.' Fae told her as she flew high looking around.

(OOC I'm sorry everypony I have to sleep now. @Krystal, would you please handle the introductions of Starbolt to everypony if they get to her. I made Fae fly up so I could introduce her myself.)

Sky ran into the direction of the light trying to be more careful . As Sky got closer to the light he began to call out untill he saw a unicorn "Hey are you okay?" Sky said to the unicorn who was casting the light spell.

Ivys ears twitched at the sound of talking. She walked towards somepony who said "Hello, can you hear me?. She looked around "hello, i can hear you" she called out. She didn't like this forest not one bit she wanted to run, run as fast as she could. But somepony was near she had to find them.

Starbolt turned to see a blue pegasus. "I'm alright." She noticed his wound. "What happened?" She asked about his wounded forehead.

(OOC Okay I'm REALLY heading off now. @Krystal You can go have Starbolt say hi to everypony now. After just have her silently follow the group.)

After keeping a fast pace for a while Krystal eventually came to a small clearing where she found a dark blue pegasus talking to a light blue unicorn "Oh thank Celestia I found somepony" she said. Not too far in the other direction she heard somepony asking if we could hear her "I can hear you" Krystal called to her "We're over here"

Lapis heard another voice, different from the first. This one sounded much closer. "I'm over here!" he shouted, the nearness of the other pony bolstering his courage. The dread seemed to weaken for a moment, but came back stronger. Lapis shook it off and ran towards the direction of the second voice. He collided into an aqua pegasus, and stopped short. He took a deep breath and composed himself. "Er, hello. Are you lost? Because I'm terribly out of sorts here...."

Ivy looked at Lapis and noded. "I am lost, i don't even know how i got here" she told him. She looked around the forest, and her body shivered she didn't like something about this place. She looked up at the colt in front of her, "names Ivy by the way."

"I am Lapis Lazuli. I'm in the situation as you, unfortunately. Perhaps we should stick together. As they always say, 'there is power in numbers'." Lapis said, partially relieved to see another living being. The dread seemed to thin out in this area, as if what ever it was following him was focused more somewhere else. "Now, if you don't mind, I'd hope to get moving. Staying still doesn't feel like a good idea."
