Octavinyl turned to Vinyl Blade, "Tavi? Umm...okay?" she replied as she flew to the rooftop to where Red was. She was gonna have a long talk with him for not notifying them of any dangers nearby. On the way she visited Emerald's room to see how he was doing.

Octavinyl left the room without answering her question. "Um, yeah, just ignore me. That's fine..."

Emerald cracked his eyes open slightly, staring at a darkened hospital room...

'Where am I?.....I remember, store, supplies.....Blacking out.....What happened?.....Something about my leg..?'

He raised his head slightly, noting the pillows he was resting on,

'Huh....That doesn't look very attractive....The mares won't be diggin' that, that's for sure....Seems to have stopped getting that black gunk everywhere though........'

He tensed himself, then sat up. Looking around the room...

"Uh, Urrf...Hey! I can finally talk again!....."

He could see the nurse leaving,

"Miss Silver...What happened exactly?.......Urrf! I think my stomach is trying to tell me I need some food.....Damn, I don't think I've eaten for...Days....Can you grab me something, anything, to eat please? Seriously, anything."

His cut appeared to have been bandaged, but something had leaked through..

'It's that black stuff....It isn't dripping or anything....It's....Solid?....It's almost like it's part of my leg.......Hmm....'

Emerald moved his injured leg, trying to stretch. He kicked out suddenly at the bottom of the bed he lay in, testing his strength.

The metal panel bent backwards slightly, one hoof-print in it's surface.

"I only meant to stretch...And at least my other hoof didn't do anything freakish...."

 

(OOC: Black stuff is safe for now, just don't eat it...Also, not enhanced due to infection...Something else, only effective on one leg and hoof, I'll explain more later..)

 

Silver Heart turned around, slightly surprised that emerald was conscious. "We don't know, we were hoping you could tell is what happened to you. Could you tell us anything? If you wait just a moment, I'll get you some food."

Octavinyl saw that Emerald was feeling much better than at the store so she went upstairs to the rooftop to talk to Red. As she finally got to the rooftop she flew over to Red who was holding a knife to the new pony she never met. "HEY WHAT ARE YOU DOING WITH THAT KNIFE?!" She yelled at him as she quickly flew over to them.

"I vill give you a moment to pray." Red waits for 1 minute, and then drives the knife through Morningstar's throat, wanting to laugh at the suprised look on his face. "Ahhh. Zat vill never not be fun."

Red snaps his head around. "Vell, seeink as novone vas bringing me a FICKING BONESAW, I decided to do it myself! See vere your incompetence und slow actink has brung you? If it is any consolation, he vasn't goink to live anyvay."

Drizzle sat in the lobby in a chair slowly dozing off he tried his best to stay awake.He still was hungry and didnt feel so good but the fatigue wraped around his body he didnt feel like moving so he lied there with nothing on his mind and only heard a few noises but all in all it was the only peaceful to happen to him in this time of crisis.

Collecting together his loose memories of the past few days, Emerald began to piece together what had happened, how and when he had been injured...And what the black gunk could be...

"I'll tell you when I've had something edible...I..."

Hearing a loud shout from upstairs,

"What?! Was that Octavinyl? What's she shouting about?...Knife...?...."

More shouting....Had someone been attacked?

"I think someone should go check what's happenin' up there...I'm a bit worried frankly.."

"BAD IDEA!" Red shoves Octavnyl off, and in an instant has her in a painful headlock. "NO VONE BROUGHT ME A BONESAW! HOW COULD I HAVE SHAVED HIM VIS NO BONESAW? HOW?" He smashes her head into the wall. "HOW, VERDAMMIT!"

Octavinyl let out a scream when Red took her in a rather painful headlock. "W-WHAT DO YOU MEA-MEAN!? HE LOOKS OKAY TO ME!!! GAH! EXCUSE ME BUT HAVE YOU GONE NUTS? I JUST TRIED TO KEEP YOU FROM SLITTING HIS THROAT!" she kept yelling at him, but at the same time struggling to get off.

"Alright, I'll go check. just stay down here. On my way back I'll grab you some food." Silver Heart replied as she started to trot out of the door. She was worried, that had sounded like Octavinyl. Concern for her friend sped up her pace. When she reached the rooftop she saw Red attacking Octavinyl. Thinking quickly she levitated the container of bleach out of her saddlebag and threw it in his eyes, effectively blinding him. She then levitated the two scalpels from the same saddlebag. She didn't want to kill anypony, she didn't even think she could if she had, but this pony was attacking her friend. she levitated the scalpels and cut along the ligaments holding him up so he couldn't move anymore. He would be alive but paralyzed. The fight ended as quickly as it began. "Octavinyl are you okay?"

Octavinyl started to breathe heavily and tears started to come down her cheeks. "GET OFF OF ME! WHAT DO YOU THINK YOU'RE TRYING TO DO!? HE JUST LOOKS LIKE HE BLACKED OUT, BUT YOU'RE KILLING ME!" She kept yelling as she started gasping for air. Just then Silver Heart came in, "S-SILVER HEART!" she just kept yelling and she started to turn blue.

Hearing the commotion upstairs, Emerald decided to investigate. Grabbing his blade, he pulled himself up and began to climb the stairs towards the roof.

'I hope nothing went wrong....Did someone get hurt?.....Well, Miss. Silver went up there, she's a nurse...I'm sure she can patch up anything that isn't too bad...I hope....'

Octavinyl regained her breathe and continued to breathe in air after Red let go of her. "Thanks Silver Heart, I think much worse events may have happened if you didn't help me." She said to her feeling gratitude, but now there was a lot of talking to do with Red. First her doesn't notify the scavenging team of any dangers. Second he tried to kill Morning Star. Third he had Octavinyl in a headlock.

The full extent of permanently crippling a pony and possibly even blinding him made her head go light. With the stress of the current situation, combined with a lack of sleep and food she blacked out. Silver Heart fell to the floor with a loud thump.

Emerald watched Flame Dancer leave for the roof,

'These ponies, they care about each other...And me, too much, I hardly even knew them before a few days ago...I'm not complaining though, they've patched me up pretty well...I'm pretty damn thankful, I'll show them that one day...'

He turned back towards his bed, positioning his blade just under it, in easy reach, then he climbed into the bed and rested,

'I wonder how Ruby and the other's are getting on...I hope they're okay right now...'

With that, he relaxed and began to think of what he would do to show these ponies just how thankful he was, and how useful they'd been...

"it's okay I'm fine, but check if that black colored stallion is alright." Octavinyl replied as she pointed at Morning Star. "Red was saying weird things about trying to save Morning Star with a bonesaw." She added as she flew over to Morning Star's body. A dark colored folder was sticking out. As she picked it up and was about to open it, Silver Heart had fell unconscious. Octavinyl immediately dropped the folder and flew over to Silver Heart's side. "Looks like she passed out, but everypony go ahead and helpt yourselves to the bag full of fruits in the lobby." Octavinyl said to everypony as she turned back to Silver Heart.

Octavinyl went back to see what was in the mysterious folder the black stallion was holding. As she opened it and saw its contents, she just froze in shock on what she had just read.

Air stood by to watch the commotion, the headlock, the bleach and for all the German at the end. He knew he couldn't trust this pony, but the Geman language was still stuck on his mind. All the Opals had learned foreign languages from their parents as they grew up, and German happened to be one of them. "Be careful, Red could have had earlier injuries with his eyes.," he said, stepping closer, out of the shadow. He looked him over. 'If I'm correct, he may have said something about foals throwing sand into his eyes. He must have had one blasted childhood', he thought, stepping a step away once more. "I was correct, he's had eye injuries before."
