Whirlwind looked at the chariot, it resembled her mane perfectly "Wow, it looks great" she said smiling as she walked around it, every single detail of the chariot impressed her, maybe she'd be able to get even more sponsors, Luna would be the one to give her any neccessary supplies she might need on the games, but the canterlot ponies were the ones who were going to give her the money, she heard the announcement, and got on her chariot as she waited for her district's number to come up

Very impressive shows so far ladies and gentlecolts! But there is more to come so hold onto your seats and get ready for the next wave of competitors! Diehard was ready to go. Ok guys lets go. His chariot was being pulled by two war horses that had matching armor to the chariot. Diehard looked at the crowd as they cheered. He could hear some of them letting out war cries as a joke. He knew they were not here for him, but for his blood. Well at least my brothers back home are on my side. He sees the generals of the Equestrain army talking to each other and pointing at his chariot. He knew those were the guys he wanted on his side. He points and solutes them to gain their respect. And it looks like it might have worked. Now i know they can get me what i need.

Ezio huffed, though no other poneis saw the moment. The hood draped over his head, a mace sticking from the side of the suit, visible to the crowd. It would be good if he looked sinister and dangerous, as it would help him a lot and it would make him look like a good competitor to the ponies of Equestria who were watching. He had only been allowed to show the weapons on the uniform if he promised not to use the, at least not yet. The chariot began to move, the ponies pulling the chariot being simple brown colts, making it look like old time and without the modern touches. Ezio did not smile, he just looked ahead. The assassin's suit was sinister and dark, and it gave off the right effect. The crowd cheered, but not because they wanted to win, but because they thought that Ezio could kill a lot of ponies to make them happier. Ezio wouldn't enjoy any of it, but he wanted to survive. Ezio finally arrived next to the other chariots, which were standing still, and the next chariot from behind him began to move through the crowd.

Celestia looks through the crowd and sees them going nuts. Amazing performances from everypony! Only two more chariots to go! Next up we have Quillusion and then Whirwind right behind! Pay close attention! Now here! coming from district 6, Quilusion!

Shade's chariot pulled into a tunnel, out of view of the competitors. Shade deactivated the fires and sat down. She looked to her right, and saw all the sponsors. Among them was Gamemaker. She pulled out a card that had designs for a special bow and arrow setup. It came with poison, ice, dark, light, fire, and bomb arrows. She threw it at Gamemaker, along with a note that said "This is what I'll need for the arena. Send it to me when I find shelter. I know that you can help me out, Gamemaker. Thanks!" Shade hoped that Gamemaker could do it. Since she was weaker than the others, she had to rely on her stealth and archery.

(So sorry, school was going on so I couldn't update here, but I'm back now.)

 

Quilluison chariot pulled out of the waiting area. She could here the crowd cheering but she just frowned. They only wanted her dead anyway, which made her sick. Not even the beautiful dress she was wearing cold make her like any of this. Soon her parade was over and she was happy that it was. She had hated that, all them ponies wanting to see her die.

Gamemaker grabbed the card in his mouth as it flew towards him. He looked at the design for the bow and arrows Shade had come up with. 'This is what I'll need for the arena. Send it to me when I find shelter. I know that you can help me out, Gamemaker. Thanks!' Gamemaker looked at the little note and just had to wonder if this mare would even MAKE it to shelter. But she was clever. That had gotten several tributes far in the past games. Sometimes even he was amazed at the creativity of the competitors.

Shade saw Gamemaker read the note. She waved at him as the chariot continued. Looking ahead, she wondered when the games would begin. And when they started, what would she do? She would get the bow when she found shelter, but should she go for the cornucopia? She decided to take the 2 things closest to her, and run straight toward the mountainous area.

Gamemaker saw Shade wave at him and waved back. He took another glance at the bow design, then to Shade as she rode away. Hopefully she knew that just because her sponsor was the head gamemaker, she was not invincible. There had been a far greater amount of competitors that had been killed even with his help than those who lived. Sometimes it didn't matter if the whole environment was your ally, well, make that passive onlooker at best. It usually boiled down to the luck of the draw, the skill of those ponies who were reaped along with you. They key was to use whatever was given to you to the fullest possible extent, and some ponies just didn't know how.

The chariot pulled into a room, and there were the sponsors. Shade got off her chariot, and the others got off theirs. Shade walked over to Gamemaker. "Hey, GM? What's this about? Why is everypony getting their sponsor gifts now?" Shade asked. She was confused.

As the last tribute went through the gate Celestia began to speak again. Very good! Now all tributes are to make their way to the main hall where they will meet up with their respective sponsors! The sponsors will then have the chance to give their tribute one gift! Make it count! Celestia flys towards the main hall and meets with Quillusion. My dear don't be so glum. I have full confidence in you. And I want you to take this. It's an invisibility potion. It will come in handy in sticky situations. One drop and you will be invisible for 60 seconds. Dont waste it. there is only 5 drops in the bottle.

 

Boss meets up with Cadence. What have you got for me?

Quillusion looked up and took the potion. Hopefully that would be useful. "Princess, any tips before I head into the arena? Should I try to get a weapon, or should I just run?" Quillusion asked, hoping the Princess could help her some, as she had no idea what she should do.

"Here, I hope this will help you..." Candace said, giving him a glowing purple sword. "This is an energy sword. But you can only activate it once per day, and it stays on for 30 minutes after activatiooing n. Good luck, Boss." Candace said.

Ezio walked over to Spitfire. He saw helpful gifts being handed to ponies left and right, and he calmly and patiently waited for Spitfire to give him something that could be helpful in the arena. His eyes darted to Princess Celestia who gave over some kind of bottle. Shade didn't seem to understand what was happening, but Ezio was still waiting for Spitfire.

 

((OOC: Ugh, where are you Vinyl Blade/Medley/Anypony else who might be playing Spitfire.))

 

Spitfire calmly took out a concealed package, and leaned in to whisper to Ezio, "It's called a katana, a sword that the ancient samurai ponies used. It should be a helpful weapon for an assassin like you." Spitfire's smile came back and she grinned at him, patting him on the back. "Good luck in the arena, and try to get out. Such talent like yours should not get wasted.

Gamemaker walked up to Shade and handed her the bow and quiver with six different compartments. Okay Shade, I've made sure to make several different arrows that fit your specifications. The tips are color coded. Green is poison. It exhausts a pony's energy rapidly. That plus the pain of impact and blood loss might just be enough to kill someone, but it might take a little longer. Light blue is ice. Once the agent within the tip enters the bloodstream, it will hinder all motor skills for a few hours. Black is dark. If a pony is hit with this they will have hallucinations of their darkest fears for an unknown amount of time, minimum a few hours. White is light. It will create a large flash that will blind anypony looking at it long enough for you to make an escape. Red is fire. A simple incindiary bolt, it is designed to spread across flesh rapidly. But be careful, it still will burn any foliage so try not to miss. Lastly, yellow means bomb. Pretty self explanatory, the blast will have a five foot radius when the arrow impacts. There was only room in each compartment for five arrows each, so use them intelligently and sparingly.

Shade nodded. She took the quiver, and slung it on her back. She put the bow alongside it. "Thank you, Gamemaker. I am hoping I won't have to use these... But I know that I don't have a choice if I want to live. And, I believe I may be able to make more, but weaker, arrows for my bow." Shade said. She shook Gamemaker's hoof. "And don't go easy on me or the others with the arena's many surprises... " Shade followed the rest of the tributes.

(OOC: I warned you in the OOC thread that if your sponsor didn't give a gift by now we would move on so we are. If you play a tribute and your sponsor hasn't given you a gift yet just make something up.)

 

Celestia looks over the entire crowd of sponsors and tributes and waits for them to finish. When they finish she speaks. Then we are ready. Sponsors are to remain here while tributes make their way to the main plaza where there will be an air ship to escort you all to the official grounds of the Hunger Games. This is it. This is where your training and sponsorship will pay off. Good luck, and may the odds be ever in your favour. Celestia then walks out, followed by the other sponsors.

 

Boss nods at Cadence and begins to walk towards the main plaza. He speaks nervously to himself, trying to reassure himself that he will win. When he boards the plane, an attendant clips him something within his skin. It was probably a tracking beacon he thought. He waited for the other tributes anxiously.

Ezio sat down in one of the seats on the plane that would take them to the arena. Something was injected into his arm, some kind of tracking device, and he was set to go. He strapped himself with a seatbelt and waited for the other contestant to board the plane.

Shade heard Celestia, and walked over to the hovercraft. As she walked over, a royal guard game him an injection. It was the tracker. Shade walked onto the hovercraft, and sat down. She looked at her bow and arrows, hoping that they could help her get through the games.

Medley walks over to the hovercraft. A injection is given into her arm, which contains the tracker. Medley sits down and looks nervously around at all of the other competitors. She had been given a small rucksack containing a water bottle with a knife and sleeping bag. Medley hopes it is enough to keep her alive, just for one day.

Whirlwind was now on the hovercraft, she was nervous, she hadn't made any allies, and her only advantage would be speed & agility, it wasn't that bad, she'd probably be able to survive a couple of nights, but nothing was certain, she just sighed and looked at the other ponies.

Quilluison was now on the hovercraft with the others. Obviously they were going to the arena now, and only one would come out alive. She knew there would be no way it would be her. She thought of her life, how she had spent it, of what she had done. It felt like she had done nothing, and now she would die before she could do anything.

Diehard sat and meditated on what what the Generals told him. You are a fine warrior and a skilled fighter. We will make sure you have the things you need in the games. But as our gift to you we want you to have this. Gives him a compact staff. This is our newest weapon. It is the Every Weapon. It can take the form of any weapon you choose. Be careful with it tho it is under testing. But what better place to test it than at the games. Good luck Diehard, and make us proud.

Luna turned and walked out with her sister. "Sister, where are they going to go? We would not want it to be slow, painful, and boring like the last Hunger Games when everypony froze to death." She watched as the competitors walked on to the hovercraft. She was planning on sending a throwing axe to Whirlwind, but she needed to wait until the proper time.
