They immediately got out of the vehicle and started shooting back at Jack. They weren't very happy that they had stopped their ride. "You hypocrite!" The stallion yelled as he kept firing his pistol at Jack.

 

Octavinyl tried to fly away, but there was too much gunfire for her to even leave the mail box.

Jack avoided the projectiles, but purposefully aloud one bellet to hit he's already wounded leg. The pain was more than he expected.

 

When there was a break in the gunfire, he held his bloody hoof into the air. The blood ran up his leg and formed a red ball. Shortly after, a stream of lightning shot from his horn and enveloped the ball. "I hate to do this to such pathetic foes, unfortunately, this is my weakest attack. Of course I will give you a chance to submit!"

"You think you're the only one with some fancy magic as yourself?" The stallion replied as he took off his fedora, revealing that he was a unicorn himself. A few others also took of their hats and became identified as unicorns, they had all focused their magic on using combat spells. "I don't like how you just messed with our van, so you're gonna have to pay. Kill him boys." He said to the gang as the unicorns of the group started casting lethal spells sending projectiles going straight at him.

Well, I did warn them.

 

The blood from his hoof separated into individual droplets of blood that enveloped his body in a red hayze. Any spell that touched it was stopped in its tracks. Jack gave out a powerful cry, "Are you ready? STORM OF TORMENT!"

 

He released the electrical ball from his hand and it quickly spread into an electrical net that closed in around the thugs. If caught inside escape is nearly impossible, and as the name suggests, it is very painful.

((OOC sorry for not posting so much, i was studding for a test today, i am back now though.))

 

Jackson found his way back to the library again, He continued to read up on what his powers meant and were they came from. He found books that pointed to other books but still nothing, the books he found kept getting older and older though.

When Clayton finished making the rune he took the last of the blood and poured it in a circle around the rune, he wiped the sweat of his brow and walked to the center of the circle, Taking a deep breath he touched his horn to the center of the rune,

At first nothing happened but then the rune slowly began to glow a bright blood red, and the building around him started to shake after a couple seconds the whole room was glowing bright red the windows shattered, Clayton laughed as the light formed into one small bright star, then the building stopped shaking, but the light stayed floating above Clayton's head, he slowly reached up to touch it, The moment his hoof touched the light, it exploded sending him flying out a window and causing the whole building to collapse.

Most of the ponies that were captured ponies inside the net started screaming from the unbearable pain. Only 2 of them were able avoid the net and so they tried to drive off in the other black van. "Come onb start the dang thing!" :I'm trying I'm trying!" The two said while they panicked, but Octavinyl tried to fly out of the area when the gunfire had stopped.

 

((OOC: They had 2 vans in the beginning, but if you try to stop them then they won't be able to report what happened. If you do let them go then they'll tell their boss that the stallion leading them gave the wrong orders for killing innocents.))

Jack tightened the size of the electrical storm. "I believe it would be in your best interests to tell me where your friends are going, and what they're doing." he said mercilessly, " I tend to play for keeps!"

"I AIN'T TALKING! I WILL NEVER RAT OUT MY FAMILY!" The stallion yelled as he continued to scream, the rest of them agreed and continued to scream as well. Octavinyl stepped out and flew towards Jack, "I think I may know where they are." she said to him as she stood near him.

 

The van stopped in front of the hideout and quickly ran to the one they call the "Godbrother". They both immediately eplained to Scratch Tavi what had happened, "I can't believe he lied to you guys! I told him to not kill any innocents and to give that pony a warning! Not kill everypony in the apartment building That's not how this family works at all! I am ashamed of him and he is disowned from the family!" He was disappointed in what the stallion that lead the group had done.

 

"I am disowning all of you! Now get out of my sight!" Scratch Tavi yelled as the two who had participated left the building.

"Your lives have no value to me," Jack said, "but you aren't worth killing, that honor is reserved for strong opponents." He released the thugs and retracted his storm. Then he turned to Octivinyl and said, "You said you had some information for me?" he attempted to conceal his bloody wound.

"Yes, I believe I may know where their hideout is." Octavinyl replied as she turned to him and back to the thugs.

 

The stallion then pulled out a pistol from his jacket and started shooting at a nearby gas truck that was next to the downed van. It seemed pointless, but he wanted to make sure all the valuables inside the van would be destroyed.

A clump of blood that had dripped out of jack's wound shot out toward the stallion's gun. It covered the barrel, hardened and jammed the gun. Jack mumbled something about incompetence, then waited for Octivinyl to continue, hoping his grotesque powers wouldn't scare her.

"Ummm... Well I think I've seen their hideout somewhere around 13th street." Octavinyl; replied as she started watching the blood dripping.

 

Meanwhile back at the hideout, Scratch Tavi abandoned it. They were all untrustworthy to be family now, he need a family that would be loyal and would follow orders without question. The rest of the gang left, but Scratch Tavi left with all the money in his briefcases, he was going to start a fresh group, only to do what is necessary.

"Then I am going to 13th street." Jack stated, "Go home. This game is too dangerous for you." he began to slowly walk to 13th street with no need to rush. His red spider hopped on his back.

 

(OOC: I'd like to add another wimpy bad guy just for kicks. My last one decinegrated.)

Octavinyl flew back inside the apartment and watched in horror. All of the residents, her neighbors had been killed. She fell to the ground just staring at the bodies until a few seconds later, Octavinyl started crying.

 

Scratch Tavi successfull left 13th street and took shelter inside an apartment building in the center of Manehattan. He unpacked everything he brought with him and started planning.

Lapis Lazuli had heard the gun shots, but chose not to investigate. After the commotion had died down, he had already finish his ice cream cone. He got up and headed in the direction the sounds had come from. There he found dead bodies and the form of a crying mare. He cleared his throat and made himself known. "My dear, what has transgressed here? Are you hurt?" he asked with false sympathy. He just loved to see a pony on the ground suffering and toy with them. This mare seemed desperate enough to be manipulated. Underneath the outward appearance of interest he hid a dark grin and his gem twinkled briefly.

Octavinyl was silent and she chose not to talk, but she didn't feel like talking after what she had just seen. 'I-I wasn't here to protect them... I could've prevented all of this, if only I was here first!' She thought to herself as she continued her fountain of tears.

An unknown voice of an old man could be heard from the street underneath Octivinyl's apartment, "Such a pity it would be if I came all this way for nothing. She must be here somewhere, children, and I'm doubtful that she's dead. You know what I want, FIND HER!"

Sighing to himself, Lapis resisted the urge to walk away. This was a broken mare, easy to mold. He just had to hit the right notes. "Do you know who did this?" he asked, doing his best to maintain the false compassion in his voice. The more he tried to pretend, the more his original self raged within him. His focus started to drift. Lapis recomposed himself and hesitantly placed a hoof on the mare's shoulder.

A unicorn filly with a strange red impediment walked close to Lapis, looked him over, and turned around as if he was searching for something.

 

He was being watched closely by an old earth pony, Dr. Icigaki. He was light blue coated, with grey and frail green eyes. He seemed to be amused by something.

"The stallions in suits... 13th street..." Octavinyl replied as she just kept staring at all of the dead bodies. She started to fly up the stairwell and saw more dead bodies. She soon realized that there weren't any survivors and that everypony in the apartment was killed.

Two unicorn colts, with the same red impediments on their backs as the filly outside, slowly entered the apartment complex. They ignored all of the dead bodies, they were searching fore someone else. Their eyes were blank and lifeless. They entered Octivinyl's sight.

Lapis stared in confusion as two foals followed after the broken mare. She had only provided him with information. It seemed like she wouldn't yield. At the very least he could go murder those 'stallions in suits' on 13th street. That could be fun. He retrieved his discarded outfit from the waste bin he'd left it in. He went off into a side alley and donned his trench coat and shades. Dr. Photon made his way to 13th street, grinning darkly.

[Nightfall 3,950]

Nightfall stood there. Where had they gone? Those Mafia members... Dangerous thugs...

 

He returned back to the scene of the crime. He didn't notice much. He seemed for sometime to ignore the dead bodies. He sat down outside the building. He wondered why they had done what they had done. He couldn't do anything, but sits there and think.

Clayton slowly sat up surrounded by rubble and dust, Standing up he heard a voice behind him. Sir are you alright ? Clayton turned around to face the mare. Never better. He said grinning at the mare. AAHHH. The mare screamed and ran off. Why did she run I away ? I didn't do anything did I ? He thought with a puzzled expression, Looking down on the ground he noticed his reflection in a small piece of mirror, His pupils had turned into long thin lines and his teeth had become razor sharp, Clayton grinned dropping the mirror and walking away from the collapsed building Hearing sirens and police cars getting closer.
