"I-I don't know how... I'm not really taught in this sort of thing, but you should check his vitals first." she was beginning to feel tense again so she started playing with her own mane. It seemed like the only thing that would keep her calm at the moment, but she was horrified by the wound on Nightfall.

Butajiri touched the Banshee Shriek to the ghostly wall. "That music is a very useful trick. Howevr, I do hope that you have other ways to fight, because your music raises a question. HOW FAST CAN YOU SING?" The faces on the insides of the cage shot out as spectral skulls and flew at Maven from only a matter of a few feet away. "Chorus of a Thousand Skulls!"

Maven set her cello down and grinned, "You want to know how fast I can sing?" She openned her mouth and, with a guitarish twang, began to sing the guitar part to 'Through the Fire and Flames.' Her bow caught on some sort of spectral flame and she began using the sharppend end to cut the skulls. They were having a hard time touching her.

While she was distracted by the skulls, Butajiri pointed his right front hoof at Maven. "Sandari (buckshot)!" A spray of red energy shot out from his hoof in multiple directions.

 

The portal's mouth opened wider, showing the twisted forms of the lower class demons attempting to escape.

She picked up the cello and used it as a sheild. She heard a his and saw the front of her cello meltting. Frowning, she tossed it up and bucked it at the remainning skulls, which then shattered. Then she held her bow-sword point up a Bukajiri, "Shall we try this again? Maybe this dance will be more responsive then the last we had. Especially since Nightfall won't teleport infront of me."

"Den what are we going to do about Nightfall? He's not going to make it if we just sit here and do nothing!" Cherry Blossom was giving Den a serious look. She wanted to protect everypony and she was determined to keep Nightfall alive. In a city like this, they would still need their police captain.

"Well, first we're going to use stitches to patch up his bel-" He shivered and his features melted into feminimity. "We're going to stich him up," came a light voice. Her features were worried and she dug threw her saddle bag, "Den always carries around medical suplies, you know, because of his family history. Here it is; pain killers. I need you to administer this into on of his veins." said the mare, handing her a needle. She took out the stiching equipment and started poking around inside of him. She stiched his stomch back together. "Please do it quickly, Nighty doesn't have long," she was sounding panicky.

Cherry Blossom was shocked at what she had just saw, but she knew saving Nightfall was more important during this situation. She administered the substance inside the needle into a vein in his right foreleg. "D-Don't we need to move him out of here or something?" Her speech was a little shaky when she watched Den turn into a feminine form.

"To dangerous; he needs help now. If we try to move him before he's stiched up, we could do more damage or cause him to hemorage," she says quietly. "I saw it on the medical channel." She moved down the body, stiching up arteries and his stomache. She positioned herself so that Cherry couldn't see the tears running down her face.

"Yes! Victory has been obtained!" Nuclear said, grinning. "My own base, located over a vein of one of the most conductive elements in the known universe-gold!" He laid out his numerous devices, installing numerous ones... There were ponies above him! Excellent... he examined the scene... and took out a device that would establish his control over her. True, she was stitching up another pony, but who cares? He activated it, and let it fly away. It would attach itself to the pony and then give him complete control...

She finished, stiched up his belly, and stood. She dragged him out of the way, and shivered again. Den frowned; having not been as distracted as Sapphire he felt something land on him. He stepped outside the cafeteria and began to feel himself. Gotcha. He began to bang on it*

While the bug was being crushed, Nuclear wasn't paying attention, as he was installing many different traps. He adjusted his goggles, and started to use the Xray vision to determine where the main vein was. He attached a generator to one end, enhancing and spreading electricity all over it. He put in several other features, and then sat back. Wait... "Darn!" He jumped into a chair, and pushed a button that would send out an electric shock. She could have fun rearranging her organs. He didn't like ponies messing with his stuff. He readjusted his goggles and walked off.

 

(You are a very sly pony. Have fun rearranging your organs! Nothing fatal [i would be thrown out] but enough to maybe knock you out.)

Cherry Blossom walked through the halls of the asylum and tried to look for Maven and Wits. She'd never been inside an asylum, but she made and exception and pressed onward. She heard some noises coming from somewhere, they had sounded like there was a fight. The mare slowly made her way to the area of the fight.

Den had just hit the bug again when an electric shock went through his system. It went through his entire body, including his hoof and fried the bug, lnocking him out. His vision flashed white, and then... nothing. Darkness surrounded him, except another pony. It was a mare, and she was white. A unicorn, and the cutie mark looked familiar. "Den, you're a little bit of an idiot." "You're a- a unicorn?" "Well duh-uh! How do you think I know these things?" Her blue eyes rolled, and she shook her head, making her blue mane sway, "At least your less dense than Nighty. When you crushed the bug, I noticed which direction the signal was coming from. Electricity is kind of like magic, so I can kind of trace it when you go spiritual like this. There's somepony in one of the empty prison blocks downstairs messing with a lot of electricity... I think we're going to be knocked out for a while though..."

Cherry Blossom watched as Maven and some strange pony fought against eachother. She was easily creeped out by the skulls that were moving about and she didn't want to take part in this... But duty calls and she has to help Maven. "Oh maybe I should've asked for something like... Pepper spray." she thought to herself as she rushed to help out Maven.

Nightfall awoke with a shake. His belly was stitched up, but it still hurt terribly. But.. who did it? And when? He looked up and saw Cherry charging toward Maven, who was in some sort of a cage fight with Butajiri. And Den... Nightfall dragged himself, painfully, over to Den, and shook him when he got there.

"Den... Den, come on... I need help... and Sapphire... I need both of you... please, don't be dead..."

His eyes watered up a bit at the thought of them being dead.

They both heard an echoy voice, being Nightfall. Saphire's anger immediatly softened and she closed her eyes, "I hope I have enough magic..." Her horn glowed and she projected an image of herself inside Nightfall's brain, "We aren't dead, just knocked out. On our back, there's a bug-like thing. Someone's experimenting in mind control again. Take it off; we won't wake up; that'll take a few minutes, but it'll make sure no signal gets through. Then smash it under your hoof. Hope we see you soon Nighty." She kissed her hoof and pressed it outword, and her image shimmered, disapeering. Inside Den's head, she collapsed, tired. "Den, with your body, I can't preform magic very well. Maybe... maybe someday we'll have our own bodies, but don't expect anything because I'm a unicorn..."

He shook his head, and noticed the bug thing. He took it off and tried smashing it with his hooves, but he was in a lot of pain.

"Sapphire... or Den... Whoever can hear me, I'll talk to Wits and see if you two can be separated and have your own bodies when this is over... Unless we were to die here..."

Inside Den's mind, Sapphire teared up. She tried to use magic, but her horn sputtered; she couldn't do it again. She cried into her hooves and Den walked over and hugged her, "Hey, it's going to be okay. Look at me. Look at me Sapphire." She looked at him crying, and he said in a very calm, straight voice, "Everything is going to be okay." And she believed him. She sniffed a few times and nodded.

Cherry Blossom wasn't sure on how to get pass the cage made of skulls. Nor could she clearly see what was going on inside, because of the thicks bones covering it. "Oh boy how am I going to help her out?" Cherry Blossom said to pony in particular as she quickly tried to look for something she could do.

Butajiri lowered his sword and the cage of he'll disappeared. "Game's over." he said, "I win."

 

The portal opened to a complete circle. For a moment, nothing happened and no sounds came from the black hole. But finally the first Demon crept out. A red creature with the same body as Hirue.

Maven took a defensive stance, "Since when has that ever stopped you?" she asked, eyes shifting from the imp to the portal, he bow still pointed up. If we can close the portal before any major demons get out... We can still salvage the situation. But first, we have to get the imp; more importantly, the imp's sword.

Nuclear sent out another electrical shock to the other pony, and used the machine to bring the first pony to him. He was a genius! He would construct a robotic body for the second half of her personality, and then have two ponies as experimental subject. He had cobbled together a robotic pony the other day, but he could build it again. He started construction on his separator... that would take 15, 20 minutes?

 

Of course, he was no noob. He guided the pony into a steel cell, and removed the device. Maybe he could salvage the machine...
