I personally like to think of Molestia as a Discord clone of Celestia

 

SOME of it is funny but it's mostly comprised of really gross images

 

and then most peoples play on it is really kind of gross

 

so I'm kind of against it

Now I do not expect others to adhere to my principles, nor tell people that they should. But at all times, I, like moderators, expect users to be respectful and conscious of other user's sensibilities, in their conduct at all times without exception.

 

When someone is getting bent out of shape over something little, I tend to not care if I'm offending them. In fact, depending on how ridiculously minor the thing they're getting enraged over is, I may actually go out of my way to annoy the living crap out of them for my own sadistic amusement. If you're saying you don't want forum members spamming images of her doing naughty things, well, it's not like there's anyone doing that on this forum so I don't think you have anything to get upset over. If you don't want people talking about her, or joking about her, well, tough, it's gonna happen. If you don't like it, you can always just avoid discussions that have to do with her if you it bothers you that much.

It's a day spent on the other side of the spectrum when we come across characters like Princess Molestia. We usually imagine rapist characters as male; however, in this case it's a female. This breaks away from the stereotype, although the Internet does house a lot of female rapist characters. In correlation to the fanfic "Princess Molestia", her raping the female characters of the show (characters we are familiar with, I might add) is an additional stereotype buster that helps yet another fantasy see the light of day.

 

One reason many people understand or claim to understand as to why Molestia is a stick-around character is because of the shock and comedy value she bears in going from the honorable and benevolent Princess Celestia, a mother figure and protector of ponies, to what we consider the bane of our society.

 

But here's the kicker: Princess Molestia may be sick, perverse, and hornier than a two-headed cow, but she's still the princess. Almost nothing can stop her or tell her no. Such power and stature mean she's in charge, and it's this not-quite-BDSM domination that readers and fans of Molestia enjoy. We all want to be in charge. We all want to have things we can't normally have.

 

So whether she's using her tongue to express interest in her next victim, or using her horn to make angels sing, or just outright jilling off in front of a crowd of ponies, Molestia is going to get what most people can't: She's going to get away with it.

 

Oh, and remember, children:

Personally, I find the Molestia joke hilarious. It's just a joke started by someone just like Pinkie Pie being a cannibal. Some of the things are disturbing and can go a little too far, but again, it's a joke that shouldn't be taken too seriously.
