Singer and composer wanted to put music to lyrics.

I have come up with an inspirational song for scoot to sing and i need help to get started. i have the lyrics and all i need now is a voice and a composer. anypony interested?

great amounts of agility

against all odds i proved them wrong

and found out what makes me strong.

Rainboom that lit up the

sky and it inspired them...

Applejack discovered that home

is where the cutie mark is,

and fluttershy though grounded, had

fallen into her destiny.

rarity traveled far and wide

and when she reached the other side,

just like twilight and her brightest eyes

and pinky pie looking up to the sky

 

they no longer had to wonder why,

or how to reach their highest heights

they had a special talent right from

the start that was with them allways

within their hearts and thats how they earned,

their cutie marks.

 

( Scoot -"Wow... Well what about you?".

 

RD - "What about me?

I'm just awesome thats

all you need to know Squirt"

 

Scoot - "Sigh Okay i guess")

 

So while good things come to those

who wait I still look forward to the day

when I discover my cutie mark."

 

 

Sooo, what does everypony think? be honest cause i need honest criticism.

I could be one of the composers.BUT if it is something related to symphonic metal/cello metal, because that's all I compose and play.

If it's my kind of thing, than I have a drum-kit, guitar and bass-guitar I can record, if that's what you need!

Edit: After "Let me explain" I can't find any sort of melody. Is that supposed to be spoken word?

This is just a quick test I did. I came up with a tune to sing the lyrics, and then put them over a song I'd originally composed for Fluttershy.

 

I don't know if there's anything else I can do with your lyrics at this point though. At least not without figuring out a melody for the second half of your song. If anyone else who expressed an interest in working on this song wants to use any part of my little test for inspiration or reference, feel free to do so.

this ain't bad (singing could left to be desired but meh).

 

But seeing as scootaloo is a kid and its the traditional mlp universe (judging by those lyrics).

The instruments would have to be orchestral winds and strings to support (you know its screaming disney's "wanting more" songs). But the melody really hits home.

 

That's not my judgement call though. I'm sure the OP will gush over this as is.
