visual art I drew Knuckles. (First drawing)

So I seen how great people can draw, so I took a stab at it myself. I used a mouse, and this is in fact, my first drawing. After drawing I do realize some of the mistakes I have done (eyes, stance)but I do enjoy any tips anyone can give, and POSITIVE criticism. This is also all free hand draw, no tracing, no assists, just me. (Can explain why the lines may look weird)

Oooo, I likez it! Well, since you already explained that the lines are caused by the free hand and use of a mouse, the only real thing I notice that stand out is how elongated he is. Legs seem fine, but his torso is really long/tall. Not horribly bad since you had no references, but it does stand out.

His right foot also seems off on the angle. I'm not sure if legs/ankles bend like that...

 

Overall I think it looks pretty good! Especially for no references!

props to you for mouse drawing, I know it's not that easy

 

It looks really good at first glance, I'm not a sonic fan, and I know very little about the characters, but I've seen this guy before, so I think the lower part of his torso should be more narrowed, his legs too, the original character has long skinny legs, the shoes are OK.

and the hair needs to have more spiky tips, just that, it's a really great drawing, don't get me wrong!

Thank you for the feed back. I didn't notice how long he was until I got up close. (My monitor is a TV) As for the stance he was supposed to be leaning on one leg and his back leg a little behind him, but I screwed up the foot stance giving him a rather weird appearance.

Actually this isn't half bad considering you drew this on the computer. Although, It could use a little work on the shading and other detail, also the shoes are a bit off. Other than that it looks fantastic.

I could tell that you drew with the mouse, the lines being all freaky-outy. That happens to me all the time when I try to draw with mine.

....whoa...that Picture is so totally epic!!! honestly i don't think i could draw/paint a picture to save my life....this is just...amazing!!!
