Modphase 1,271 October 3, 2012 Share October 3, 2012 You can change yourself, but you can't change other people. So instead of working yourself to the bone trying to change their opinions on Bronies, I suggest you find new friends that aren't huge a-holes. I personally would never want to be seen hanging around those idiots. They're not worth any of your time.
PrincessPixie 8 October 3, 2012 Share October 3, 2012 Erm...yeah, I don't want to sound harsh, but they don't sound like very nice friends. If they just wanted to watch it to make fun of the show itself, that would be one thing, but it doesn't sound very nice at all for them to be telling you how they want to make fun of you! I hope it all ends up better than expected, at least. "Neither the angels in heaven above nor the demons down under the sea can ever dissever my soul from the soul of the beautiful Annabel Lee." Acoustic Cloud 2,202 October 3, 2012 Share October 3, 2012 Well i'd say they weren't truly friends... I've had to many of those, it never stops getting painful, and it never get's easier. But you do eventually reach the point where you just don't care, and you knew it all along. Besides, the fact that they just watched the show, they probably have figures hidden under their beds now XD Insta conversion.
SBaby 660 October 3, 2012 Share October 3, 2012 If all else fails, show them Party of One or Lesson Zero. Those episodes usually do the trick when people are on the fence about the show. If worse comes to worse, you could always show them parodies of it. 1 A Winner Is You!!!

I told my friend that he needed to see season 1 episode 16 ("Sonic Rainboom") and he said he'll give the show "one more chance." If everything goes well maybe I'll recommend them to him, but for now I can't help but worry for the worse. Return of Harmony Part 1 and 2 anyone? I think thats a yes Riley was here

I think thats a yes If my friend does like "Sonic Rainboom" then absolutely. I was telling him about how season 2 catered more to the new target demographic, but I think he'll have to see it for himself to know. Thanks for the suggestion, though, if all goes well I'll do it. If not, well, I tried. Edited October 3, 2012 by whoovesfan7698
Aerial~Shot 177 October 5, 2012 Share October 5, 2012 As pretty much every reply to this says, they don't seem like very good friends. I would call them out on it if I were you and if they don't apoligise/keep bullying you, they aren't worth it. And I'm pretty sure at least one of them who watches it at the weekend will end up liking it, even if they only tell you, and refuse to mention it to anyone else. I wish you good luck with this!

Thanks! Also, I'm not sure if any of them will even watch it (I should probably be a bit more specific about by situation, one of my friends is a girl who played with the "My Little Pony" toys when she was young and claims she saw an episode the new version and refuses to watch anymore. Another, as previously stated, already watched season 1's episodes 1 and 2 and won't watch episode 16 ("Sonic Rainboom"), and my other friend, the one who would be the hardest to get to like it, just plain won't listen at all. I'm just hoping everything goes well, and, if all else fails, they'll accept me. Still, coming from my best friends for 3 years now, to hear them being so rude is stunning. Thanks, though, I'm hoping for the best too, but what I'm hoping for and what I'm predicting will happen are two completely different stories...
