Plot: A massive blackout that results in the failure of all electricity, smartphones, planes, cars, and computers causes governments to collapse and the world to revert back to old habits. Militias take over, and one group in particular is wound up in the whole thing, with an idea of how to get the lights back on.

I love this show. Finally a show that's in the vein of Heroes and Lost, but remains original. Its pilot attracted a total of 24.2 million people, which is huge for NBC. It aired its fourth episode last night (a heartbreaker), which featured another twist. I've noticed each episode adds to the mystery with a banger of a twist at the end of it (like Lost and Heroes) so hopefully it can keep this up! :D

I suggest watching this; all episodes are on Hulu. :3

Ha I've been enjoying this show too. One thing I really like about it is it's pretty fast paced, I don't feel like I have to keep waiting around for no reason for things to happen.

But some of the characters kinda bug me lol.. Especially the main girl that cries to get her way.

Oh gosh, this show is just awful. Sorry to rustle your jimmies this fine night, but it's never held my interest for longer than the first 10 minutes. The acting isn't all that good, the scenery is just blah, and finally, I'm tired of apocalyptic TV shows and movies.

I love this show. The characters were pretty unique and I enjoy the plot twists it offers. the only real complaint I had is this. First episode:

"Hey, you need to go to Chicago to get your Uncle"

"Now we are in Chicago and we found your Uncle!"

If I was writing it, I would have started the show out in New York or somewhere in the NW USA and made them travel down to Chicago.

Oh my God, me too. -_- I love it when Miles snaps at her, he really puts her in her place. ;)

Um... have you watched anything more than the first 10 minutes of the first episode? I wouldn't judge a show just off of the first ten minutes of its first episode. o.o

I've seen all the episodes, it got bad after ten minutes, I'm not one of those guys who slander against and has never seen it, I watched, it's not my cup of tea.

Sorry.

What didn't you like about it? D:

I'm guessing you weren't a fan of Lost or Heroes, then, because I can't imagine you were and don't like this. :P

Nope, plus it just never appealed to me with the trailers and previews, it was too hyped, when it comes to apocalyptic/sci fi, I'd like to see more realism, I live in Illinois and lemme tell ya, Illinois is nothing like that, no swamps, waterfalls, and so on, except for downstate, far downstate.

Finally it's just trying too hard to be The Hunger Games.

Oh gosh why. I went to go check out the show, ended up watching all the episodes. This show is so awesome, interesting plot, the characters have good flaws that make them seem human(Except Miles on occasion lol)

It's a decent show (honestly I've only seen the first few episodes), but my biggest problem with it is that the "15 years later" looks more like 150 years later.

I feast on the words of great authors,

Drink the emotions and thoughts of the characters,
And sleep only once I am through with all of the stories.
It's not the ideas that make books relevant,
It's the READERS.

I'd say it's pretty accurate. I mean, this is a rather abrupt drop-off. One second, there's electricity and all of our technology at our fingertips, and the next second, there's not? I think it's realistic to say that this could happen; we progressed into the modern age over the course of many decades, but reverting back... I think this could actually happen. I really don't know how the government could maintain control.

No no no, I'm talking about the crazy plant growth and decay of human buildings. Sure iit would happen but no where near that quickly.
